A close look at the woman’s mouth and some decay is shown.

PANEL 4

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zora_Neale_Hurston

PANEL 5

A close look at the paper in the typewriter that says "What is more, if science ever gets to the bottom of Vodou in Haiti and Africa, it will be found that some important medical secrets, still unknown to medical science, give it its power, rather than gestures of ceremony."

PAGE 2

PANEL 1

The present and a part of New York, it seems that no one is around. It’s night time.

PANEL 2

A young woman is walking alone.

WOMAN (thought balloon and tired)

MAN, I’M SO BEAT THAT I’M SURPRISED THAT I HAVE THE ENERGY TO WALK TO MY APARTMENT.

WOMAN (thought balloon and tired)

I JUST WANT TO GET HOME, TAKE A SHOWER, AND SIT ON THE COUCH TO SEE IF THERE’S ANYTHING GOOD ON THE TV.

PANEL 3

A shadow is shown on the woman’s back and she acts as if she knows that someone’s behind her and it spooks her a bit.

WOMAN (thought balloon and a little spooked)

OH’ @#$%! PLEASE DON’T LET THIS END WITH ME BEING MUGGED OR WORSE RAPED!

PANEL 4

A pepper spray is shown in her hand.

WOMAN (hand only shown and thought balloon)

PREPARE TO GET THE RED EYE, SICKO!

PANEL 5

A part of the back of the guy behind her is shown and he looks like he’s into punk rock! The woman turns around and is about to use the pepper spray, but shock is shown on her face as if she’s been stabbed or something!

WOMAN (in shock and low tone)

OH’ GOD.

PANEL 6

A knife is shown inserted into the woman’s abs!

EDDIE (hand only shown)

DON’T WORRY, LADY YOU’LL BE MOVING ABOUT AGAIN REAL SOON.

PAGE 3

PANEL 1

The woman has fallen to the ground and above her is her killer where shadow mostly covers his form, but his smile with teeth is shown.

EDDIE (amused and delusional)

AND I’LL MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SOME FRIENDS WITH YOU WHEN YOU DO.

PANEL 2

The eyes of the dieing woman are shown as her life comes to an end. The laughter of her killer is heard.

PANEL 3

Same as panel 2, but the life has now left the eyes of the woman. The laughter continues.

PAGE 4

PANEL 1

It’s now morning and the Applimax building is shown. Some bystanders are walking by.

PANEL 2

Somewhere inside the building, the end of a crutch is shown touching the floor.

PANEL 3

Sam and Ralph are shown hanging at the bunker part where the vans and equipment are (New York Wilderness #2) and are happy to see someone.

SAM (chilling and happy)

LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE GOT TIRED OF LYING AROUND AND DECIDED TO MOVE HIS BUTT.

RALPH (chilling, happy, and low tone)

HEY.

PANEL 4

Ralph is shown walking around with a crutch and looks happy to move about.

JAMES (determined and happy)

THE DOCTOR SAID THAT THE BLOOD TEST HAS SHOWN THAT THERE WASN’T ANY TRACES OF SILVER IN MY SYSTEM AND THAT I SHOULD MAKE A QUICK FULL RECOVERY.

JAMES (determined, happy, and low tone)

FASTER WHEN THE NEXT TIME I CHANGE WHICH I CAN TELL YOU I’M NOT REALLY EAGER FOR THAT NIGHT TO HAPPEN.

SAM (not shown)

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN; IT’S LIKE GETTING SHOCK THERPY STRAIGHT INTO YOUR BRAIN.

PANEL 5

A view of Sam, Ralph, and James.

JAMES (serious)

SO WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING THESE COUPLE DAYS WHILE I WAS BED RESTING?

RALPH (a little depressed)

IT WAS MOSTLY BAD AND VERY LITTLE GOOD I’M AFRAID.

SAM (a little depressed)

A LOT OF PEOPLE, EVEN THE ONES WHO THOUGHT THIS PLACE WAS JUST A NORMAL PLACE OF BUSINESS LOST THEIR LIVES ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.

JAMES (serious)

SOME OF THEM WERE BITTEN AND STILL ALIVE, RIGHT?

PANEL 6

(PAST SCENE) An injured and bitten employee is crawling on the floor in pain.

EMPLOYEE (hurt)

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME.

SAM (not shown and word box)

IT WAS UP TO THE SILVER KNIGHTS TO DO THE ONE THING I DOUBT ANYONE CAN LIVE WITH AFTER DOING THE DEED.

PAGE 5

PANEL 1

(PAST SCENE) A point of a gun is shown.

SILVER KNIGHT (hand only shown)

SORRY, FRIEND, BUT THERE’S NO CHOICE IN THE MATTER.

EMPLOYEE (not shown and shocked)

PLEASE! NO! I HAVE A WIFE AND KIDS!

SILVER KNIGHT (hand only shown)

I UNDERSTAND THAT YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHEN I SAY THIS, OR EVEN UNDERSTAND IT, BUT I’M DOING THIS FOR YOUR FAMILY SO YOU DON’T BECOME A THREAT TO THEM.

PANEL 2

(PAST SCENE) At the place where the werewolves are contained during the times they’re not being used, the keeper, Phil, (New York Wilderness #3) is showing sitting on the floor and leaning at a wall while he has his hand on the bleeding arm of his that was caused by a vampire bite. Julie is there with a gun.

RALPH (not shown and word box)

SADLY, OUR KEEPER WAS ONE OF THEM WHO HAD TO BE TAKEN DOWN.

JAMES (not shown and word box)

PHIL? MAN, HE WAS A GREAT GUY WHO ALWAYS TREATED US LIKE PEOPLE AFTER THE NIGHT OF THE FULL MOON, WHILE OTHER’S WOULD SEE US AS MONSTERS, EVEN IF THERE WASN’T ONE OUT.

JULIE (a little depressed)

OH’ GOD. PHIL.

PHIL (a little scared, hurt, but in control)

SUCKS TO BE ME, HUH? AND HERE I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE MOST LIKELY THAT I GET BITTEN BY ONE OF THE PACK BECAUSE OF THE JOB’S RISKS, BUT I GUESS LIFE IS TOO HARSH TO BE THAT SIMPLE.

PANEL 3

The right side of the injured Phil is shown and looks ready to die.

PHIL (hurt and serious)

JULIE…. YOU’RE A SILVER KNIGHT, SOMEONE WHO’S BEEN TRAINED TO HANDLE THINGS LIKE THIS, NO MATTER HOW TERRIBLE THE JOB, IT HAS TO BE DONE…. AND YOU KNOW IT.

PANEL 4

The left side of Julie is shown as she aims her gun at Phil’s direction and doesn’t like this.

PHIL (not shown and hurt)

IT’S BETTER THAT YOU DO IT NOW WHILE I’M STILL HUMAN AND A LOT EASIER SINCE I’M SURE I WON’T HOLD STILL FOR YOU AFTER I TRANFORMED IN A COUPLE OF DAYS.

JULIE (angry at herself)

THIS @#$%EN JOB SUCKS BEYOND BELIEF!

PANEL 5

The word “bang!” is shown in a black background.

PANEL 6

Back to Sam, Ralph, and James.

RALPH (a little depressed)

I HEARD WORD THAT THEY ALREADY GOT A REPLACEMENT FOR HIM.

SAM (chilling and sarcasm)

THAT’S HUMAN RESOURCES FOR YA.

SAM (chilling and sarcasm)

IT’S LIKE THEY HAVE A WAREHOUSE OF BACK BREAKING LABORS READY TO BE SHIPPED IN A MINUTE’S NOTICE.

JAMES (a little curious)

DID THEY SAY WHO IT WAS?

RALPH (a little depressed)

NOPE, SO I GUESS WE’LL HAVE TO FIND OUT AFTER THE FULL MOON THING HAPPENS.

PAGE 6

PANEL 1

In another part of the building where the furnace that burns the bodies are, (HUNTER’S MOON EXPERINCE #3) the workers there are burning the remains of the vampires that attacked the place a couple days ago.

PANEL 2

Two workers are taking a bagged body on a cart to be next to being burned.

MISTER ADAMS (not shown)

WAIT.

PANEL 3

Mister Adams is next to the bagged body and starts to unzip it. Miss Carson is next to him.

PANEL 4

Inside the bag is a burnt up dead Nos.

MISTER ADAMS (not shown)

ASHES TO ASHES. DUST TO DUST.

PANEL 5

The two workers take the body away while Mister Adams and Miss Carson watch in the background.

MISTER ADAMS (calm and a little annoyed)

AND PLEASE DO US A FAVOR AND BURN IN THE ETERNAL PITS OF HELL, BECAUSE AFTER WHAT YOU DONE YOU OBVIOUSLY DON’T DESERVE TO REST IN PEACE.

PANEL 6

Mister Adams has his hand on his nose that says that he’s been thru stressful things after the battle and Miss Carson looks concern.

MISS CARSON (a little concern)

ARE YOU ALRIGHT, SIR?

MISTER ADAMS (a little stressed)

I HAD TO SPENT THESE FEW DAYS EXPLAINING TO THE FAMILIES OF THE ONES THAT WERE KILLED DURING THE ATTACK ON WHY THEIR LOVED ONES WERE KILLED IN A PLACE THAT SELLS KITCHENWARE AND I SPENT HOURS WITH A WOMAN WHO DIDN’T BUY MY BULL@#$% STORY ABOUT TERRORISTS AND MAY GET THE POLICE MORE INVOLVED THEN THEY ALREADY ARE.

MISS CARSON (a little concern)

THIS ISN’T YOUR FAULT, SIR; THE ALCHEMISTS ARE THE ONES WHO ALLOWED THIS TO HAPPEN BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT THEIR SECRETS WERE BEING THREATENED AND THAT THEY WERE MORE IMPORTANT THEN INNOCENT LIVES.

MISTER ADAMS (a little stressed)

BUT I’M THE ONLY ONE WILLING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OVER THE LIVES THAT WERE LOST OVER AN INSANELY RIDICULOUS REASON AND TO MAKE SURE THAT ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE TO INDICATE THAT THEY’RE LIVES WEREN’T TRIVIAL, THAT THEY HAD MEANING AND WORTH, ESPECIALLY TO THEIR LOVED ONES THAT THEY LEFT BEHIND.

PAGE 7

PANEL 1

Mister Adams is starting to walk away and Miss Carson is in the background.

MISTER ADAMS (serious and in charge)

COME ALONG, MISS CARSON, WE STILL HAVE THOSE MISSING ALCHEMY BOOKS TO WORRY ABOUT WHICH IS IRONIC SINCE ALL THIS HAPPEN TO KEEP SECRETS BUT ENDED UP RELEASING THEM TO THE UNEXPECTING CITY AND STILL I HAVE TO CLEAN UP AFTER THE ALCHEMISTS WHICH IS A JOKE THAT I DON’T FIND AMUSING EVEN FOR A BIT.

PANEL 2

Back to Sam, Ralph, and James.

PANEL 3

A close look at Sam.

SAM (chilling)

SO WHERE’S THE LITTLE BRAT AND THE NERD, HAVE YOU SEEN ANY OF THEM AROUND?

PANEL 4

Elsewhere in the building, a depressed Sandy is shown in a empty hallway with hardly any light as she sits on the floor curled up as she leans to the wall.

JAMES (not shown and word box)

SANDY IS DEEPLY DEPRESSED FOR WHAT HAPPENED TO FATHER JOHNSON AND SEEMS TO HAVE LOST ALL HOPE NOW THAT HE ISN’T AROUND ANYMORE.

SAM (not shown and word box)

WELL, DUH, THE FANATIC PRACTICALLY DOCTORATE HER LITTLE MIND SO SHE WOULD BE HIS OBEDIENT SERVANT WHO WOULDN’T QUESTION HIS ORDERS AND BELIEVE THAT THEY CAME DIRECTLY FROM GOD.

RALPH (not shown and word box)

EASY, LADY, THE KID’S A…. WELL…. “KID”…. WHO’S GONE THROUGH THE SAME HELL THAT WE WENT THROUGH, BUT IT’S HARD FOR PEOPLE HER AGE TO HANDLE IT, SO IT MAKES SENSE THAT SHE WOULD GO TO PEOPLE LIKE THE PRIEST WHO PROMISES SALVATION AND STUFF.

PANEL 5

Edward is in his room and under his covers of his bed that says that he doesn’t plan to leave. His glasses are on a table near him.

RALPH (not shown and word box)

AS FOR EDWARD, I HEARD HE HASN’T LEFT HIS ROOM AND HE ALSO LOOKED REALLY DEPRESSED THE LAST TIME I SAW HIM WHICH WAS THE MORNING AFTER THAT GOD AWFUL INCIDENT WE HAD WITH THE VAMPIRES.

SAM (not shown and word box)

YEAH, WELL, IF THINGS GO FROM BAD TO WORSE FOR HIM, I THINK THEY HAVE SOME PADDED ROOMS HERE FOR HIM TO USE.

JAMES (not shown and word box)

SAM.

SAM (not shown and word box)

WHAT? I’M TRYING TO BE HELPFUL HERE, REALLY.

PAGE 8

PANEL 1

It’s now night time and a bar that’s also a punk rock scene is shown and loud music is heard from within the building.

PUNK ROCKER (not shown, from building, loud, and singing)

SCREW YOUR LIFE! SCREW YOUR PARENTS WHO MADE THE MISTAKE OF HAVING YOU!!!

EDDIE (not shown and from the building)

THIS IS THE @#$%EN DAY THAT I BECOME A #@%$EN BIG MAN THAT @#$%EN PEOPLE ARE GOING TO RESPECT!

SALLY (not shown and from the building)

YEAH, I’M SURE THEY’LL BE REAL IMPRESSED WITH YOU AND YOUR NEW BUDS.

PANEL 2

Inside the building is a lot of punk rockers dancing around and knocking into each other as if it’s part of the dance. Eddie and Sally are at the bar. There’s a band playing on stage.

PUNK ROCKER (wild, loud and singing)

YOUR PARENTS DESERVE TO DIE FOR GIVING US THE BURDEN OF BEING WITH YOU, YA DUMB @#$%!!!

EDDIE (amused and delusional)

I’M @#$%EN SERIOUS, BABE, EVER SINCE I FOUND THAT @#$%EN BOOK THAT FELL FROM THAT @#$%EN BUILDING WHERE AN EXPLOSION HAPPEN, I MANAGE TO FIND THAT SPELL….!

SALLY (bored and unimpressed)

SPELL?

EDDIE (amused and delusional)

WELL, WHATEVER I @#$%EN FOUND IN THAT @#$%EN BOOK, BUT IT’S LIKE @#$%EN MAGIC WHEN IT RAISED MY @#$%EN ARMY TO DO MY @#$%EN BIDING WITHOUT THE @#$%EN BITCHING!

EDDIE (amused and delusional)

IT WAS @#$%EN DESTINY THAT LANDED NEXT TO MY @#$%EN FEET, YA KNOW WHAT I MEAN?

SALLY (bored and unimpressed)

MAYBE IF YOU DIDN’T USE THE WORD @#$%EN SO MUCH I WOULD AND IT ISN’T LIKE YOU JUST IMMEDIATELY GOT ON YOUR WAY AFTER YOU GOT THAT BOOK.

PANEL 3

(PAST SCENE) Eddie and Sally are at a library and Sally is annoyed as she works on trying to translate the alchemy book with other books of the library’s. She looks at the napping Eddie and looks like she wants to kill him for letting her do all the work. In the background is the librarian who’s is carrying some books and look at them with a disapproval look on her face.

EDDIE (word box)

IT’S NOT MY FAULT THAT I CAN’T READ THAT WEIRD LANGUAGE THAT THE BOOK’S WRITTEN IN. THERE’S LIKE NOT ONE WORD OF ENGLISH IN IT.

EDDIE (word box)

WHAT’S WITH THAT?

SALLY (word box)

IT’S LATIN, MORON, AND SINCE “I” DID ALL THE WORK, YOU REALLY DIDN’T NEED TO KNOW HOW TO READ IT, OR ENGLISH OR ANY LANGUAGE BY THE WAY, SINCE YOU WERE TOO BUSY IN DREAMLAND.

SALLY (word box and low tone)

YOU’RE LUCKY THAT I DIDN’T CHOKE YOU WITH A BOOK WHILE YOU SLEPT.

PANEL 4

Back to the bar and a closer look at Eddie and Sally.

PUNK ROCKER (not shown, loud and singing)

YOU’RE PARENTS SHOULD DIE! DIE! FOR NOT GETTING THEMSELVES FIXED BEFORE THEY DID IT, THE DUMB @#$%S!

EDDIE (amused and delusional)

WELL AT LEAST WE GOT SOMETHING TRANSLATED FROM THAT WEIRD BOOK.

SALLY (bored and unimpressed)

WE?

EDDIE (amused and delusional)

YEAH, WELL, WHATEVER, AT LEAST NOW I CAN MAKE ANYONE WHO EVER MESSED WITH ME PAY FOR WHAT THEY DID, LIKE THROWING ME IN A TRASH BIN OR PEEING ON ME AFTER BEATING THE CRAP OUT OF ME.

PANEL 5

A well built guy with a punk look bullies Eddie by putting his hand on Eddie’s head and shoving his face to the table.

PUNK ROCKER (not shown, loud, and singing)

DIE! DIE! DIE! IN THE MOST HORRIBLE AND PAINFUL WAY!

BULLY (cruel and confident)

THE REASON STUFF LIKE THAT HAPPENS TO YOU IS BECAUSE YOU’RE SUCH A FIRST CLASS LOSER AND WE FEEL THAT YOU SHOULD GET YOUR ASS KICKED BECAUSE OF IT!

PANEL 6

The bully is about to leave the building in the background, while Eddie’s face is still on the table. Sally is sitting next to him, but doesn’t seem to care.

PUNK ROCKER (not shown, loud, and singing)

DIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE!!!

BULLY (cruel and confident)

AS FOR YOU GETTING REVENGE, YEAH RIGHT, LIKE SOMEONE AS PATHETIC AS YOU COULD!

PAGE 9

PANEL 1

Eddie still has his face on the table and Sally is still sitting next to him. Applauds are heard.

PUNK ROCKER (not shown)

THANK YOU! THANK YOU, YA LITTLE @#$%S…. AND @#$% YOU!

EDDIE (calm, but a little annoyed)

SALLY?

SALLY (bored and unimpressed)

EDDIE?

EDDIE (calm, but a little annoyed)

WHO WAS THAT?

SALLY (bored and unimpressed)

JACOB ANDERSON I THINK.

EDDIE (calm, but a little annoyed)

IS HE ON THE LIST?

SALLY (bored and unimpressed)

I WOULD SAY SO SINCE I DO REMEMBER HIM BEATING THE CRAP OUT OF YOU A COUPLE TIMES.

PANEL 2

Eddie’s hand is shown reaching for his pocket.

PANEL 3

Eddie puts on a necklace with a small pouch that looks like the one that Alchemist #5 had in Nosferatu Revolution #5.

PANEL 4

Eddie leaves through the same door that Jacob used. Sally is still where she is.

EDDIE (calm, but a little annoyed)

I’LL BE RIGHT BACK.

PANEL 5

Jacob is outside the building where no one will see him, like the cops if they were passing by, since he’s having himself a joint to smoke, but he’s startled by a voice and almost drops his joint.

EDDIE (loud and direct)

HEY, MUSCLE-HEAD!

PAGE 10

PANEL 1

Up close, Jacob is looking at Eddie who’s in the background.

JACOB (annoyed)

WHAT THE @#$% DO YOU WANT, YA PATHETIC LOSER?

JACOB (annoyed)

CAN YOU SEE I’M BUSY HERE?

EDDIE (amused and delusional)

I WANT YOU TO @#$%EN APOLOGIZE TO ME BEFORE I DECIDE TO DO SOMETHING DOWNRIGHT NASTY TO YA.

PANEL 2

Jacob is in the background is starting to laugh from what Eddie just said. A part of Eddie is shown up close.

JACOB (laughing and in disbelief)

I DON’T @#$%EN BELIEVE THIS! ARE YOU ACTUALLY THREATENING ME? YOU…. THREATENING ME AS IF YOU COULD TAKE ME ON?

EDDIE (amused and delusional)

THAT PRETTY MUCH SUMS IT UP, SO WHAT’S IT GOING TO BE?

PANEL 3

A close look at Jacob’s head.

JACOB (laughing and in disbelief)

IT’S GOING TO BE ME BEATING THE @#$% OUT OF YOU FOR GIVING ME THAT ATTITUDE!

PANEL 4

On the right side of the panel is Jacob who is walking towards the fearless and smiling Eddie who at the left of the panel. Jacob is making a fist,

JACOB (humorous, confident, and tough)

YOU MUST REALLY LIKE GETTING YOUR @$$ KICKED, IN FACT IT’S PROBABLY THE CLOSEST THING YOU’LL GET WHEN IT COMES TO SEX, SINCE I DOUBT ANY GIRL, OR GUY, WOULD WANT TO DO IT WITH YOU.

EDDIE (amused and delusional)

IF YOU SAY SO, BIG MAN.

PANEL 5

A close view of Jacob as he smells something very odd.

JACOB (confused)

HEY, WHAT’S THAT STENCH?

PANEL 6

A somewhat further look at Jacob as he smells around a little bit.

JACOB (confused)

DID SOMETHING JUST DIED HERE OR SOMETHING?

PAGE 11

PANEL 1

A close look at the smiling Eddie’s face.

EDDIE (amused and delusional)

OH, SORRY ABOUT THAT…. WE’VE BEEN TRYING TO FIND WAYS TO HIDE THE AROMA, BUT SO FAR FAILED TO MAKE IT AT LEAST BEARABLE…. FOR MY FRIEND THAT IS…. TO ME IT SMELLS LIKE VICTORY.

JACOB (not shown)

AROMA? WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, YA LITTLE @#$%?

PANEL 2

The legs of walking zombies are shown and moaning are heard.

EDDIE (not shown)

I’M TALKING ABOUT THE AROMA OF DEAD ROTTING FLESH!

JACOB (not shown)

SAY WHAT?!

PANEL 3

The now spooked Jacob notices that he’s surround by people who seem strange.

EDDIE (not shown)

BUT NOT ONLY ARE THEY SMELLY, BUT THEY HAVE SUCH A MIGHTY BIG APPETITE THAT THE TABLE MANNERS ARE THROWN OUT OF THE WINDOW!

PANEL 4

Eddie’s eyes are the main focus.

EDDIE (eyes only shown, amused and delusional)

ALRIGHT, KIDDIES, THE GUY HAD CHOSEN THE NASTY PART AND MAKE SURE IT’S “REALLY” NASTY BECAUSE I REALLY DIDN’T LIKE THE ATTITUDE HE WAS JUST GIVING ME!

EDDIE (eyes only shown, amused, delusional, and low tone)

OH, AND THE TIMES HE BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF ME!

PANEL 5

Jacob is the main focus as he looks around in terror!

PANEL 6

The strange people are revealed to be zombies and one of them is the lady that Eddie killed at the beginning of the issue! The zombies make moaning sounds as they bring out their arms to reach for their living meal!

EDDIE (not shown and loud)

EAT EM UP! EAT EM UP! MUNCH! MUNCH! EAT EM UP!

PAGE 12

PANEL 1

The zombies are grabbing the terrified Jacob!

JACOB (loud and terrified)

NO! GET AWAY FROM ME! GET WAY!!!

EDDIE (not shown)

OH’ BUT THEY CAN’T, JACOB, BECAUSE YOU’RE LIKE SO YUMMY!

PANEL 2

The zombies start biting Jacob to begin their feast! Eddie is in the background watching in amusement!

JACOB (loud and terrified)

I’M SORRY, EDDIE! GOD, I’M SO SORRY! PLEASE DON’T LET THEM KILL ME!

EDDIE (amused and delusional)

WELL, GEE, JACOB, THIS WOULDN’T BE HAPPENING IF YOU WERE WILLING TO DO THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE LIKE I TOLD YOU!

EDDIE (amused and delusional)

NAY! I WAS KIDDING ABOUT THE PART WHERE YOU APOLOGIZED TO AVOID THIS! YOU WERE @#$%ED TO BEGIN WITH!

PANEL 3

The zombies start eating Jacob who screams in terror and pain!

PANEL 4

Eddie is the main focus and laughs as Jacob’s screams are still heard, as well as sounds of munching!

PANEL 5

Sally is now there and taps Eddie’s should with her finger to get his attention. Jacob’s screams and the munching are still heard!

SALLY (bored and unimpressed)

CAN WE GO NOW? THIS PLACE HAS LOST ALL INTEREST FOR ME.

EDDIE (calm)

HUH? OH, SURE, BABE, JUST BE ME A FEW MINUTES HERE.

PAGE 13

PANEL 1

The hands of the zombies are shown as they rip pieces of Jacob out!

PANEL 2

A mouth of one of the zombies is shown as it eats!.

PANEL 3

Eddie and Sally are shown as sounds of munching are heard. Eddie smiles as he watches and has his hands on his hips as he was some great man. Sally looks a little disgusted by this.

SALLY (bored, unimpressed, and a little disgusted)

DAMN, EDDIE, PISSING YOU OFF CAN REALLY BE DANGEROUS…. AND GROSS.

EDDIE (amused, delusional, ands satisfied)

DAMN RIGHT IT CAN!

PANEL 4

The dead Jacob is shown as the zombies continue to rip pieces of him to eat.

EDDIE (not shown)

THIS HERE IS THE FUTURE OF ANYONE WHO’S ON THE LIST AND WILL BE TAUIGHT ON HOW BIG OF A MISTAKE IT IS TO MESS WITH ME!

SALLY (not shown)

TAUGHT? EDDIE, THEY’LL BE TOO DEAD TO LEARN ANYTHING AFTER THAT.

EDDIE (not shown)

YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

PANEL 5

Another look at Eddie and Sally. Eddie looks proud of himself. Munching sounds are heard.

EDDIE (amused, delusional, and proud)

THIS IS THE BEGINNING, SALLY, OF MY GREATNESS, OF MY CRUSADE TO SHOW OTHERS THAT GREATNESS AND TO SHOW THOSE OTHERS THAT MY GREATNESS IS GREATER THEN THEIRS.

SALLY (low tone and a little confused)

OK…. CAN’T SAY THAT MADE ANY SENSE TO ME ON WHAT YOU JUST SAID, BUT I’M WELLING TO TRUST THAT YOU KNOW WHAT YOU’RE DOING, EVEN THOUGH YOU USUALLY DON’T WHICH ENDS UP GETTING YOU IN EVEN MORE TROUBLE, WHILE I CAN ALWAYS MAKE A RUN FOR IT AND SAVE MYSELF WHICH WOULDN’T BE THE FIRST.

PAGE 14

PANEL 1

It’s morning and the police precinct is shown.

POLICE OPERATOR (not shown and word box)

911?

CALLER (loud, not shown, and word box)

OH’ MY GOD!!! THERE’S A BODY THAT’S BEEN TORN APART AND I’M FREAKING OUT HERE!!! YOU GOT TO GET OVER HERE AND QUICK BECAUSE IT’S BAD, IT’S REALLY BAD!!!

POLICE OPERATOR (not shown and word box)

PLEASE, SIR, CALM DOWN AND TELL ME WHERE YOU ARE AND WE’LL SEND SOMEONE OVER THERE.

CALLER (loud, not shown, and word box)

A-A-A-A-A-AH’ GOD!!! I THINK I’M GOING TO HURL MY GUTS OUT!!!

PANEL 2

Later a crowd, some of them punk rockers, is being held back by a police barricade.

POLICE OFFICER (calm and in charge)

PLEASE, PEOPLE, WE NEED YOU TO STAND BEHIND THE YELLOW TAPE. THERE’S NOTHING TO SEE HERE.

ONE OF THE PUNK ROCKERS (excited and curious)

WHAT THE @#$% ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, MAN? THERE’S A DEAD BODY OVER THERE WHICH MEANS THERE’S A LOT TO SEE HERE!

PANEL 3

One of the hidden cameras of Department S.N. is aimed at the direction of the crime scene.

JULIE (not shown and word box)

ARE YOU GETTING THIS?

HOME BASE (not shown, radio, and word box)

BARELY I’M AFRAID SINCE THESE CAMERAS CAN’T SEE THROUGH PEOPLE.

PANEL 4

Through the camera is Detective Harrison and Officer Rick who about to take a look at the victim.

JULIE (not shown and word box)

HEY, MISTER ADAMS, THEY HAVE YOUR “SHADOW” ENTERING THE CRIME SCENE.

MISTER ADAMS (not shown, radio, and word box)

NOT SURPRISING SINCE HE’S LIKE THE UNOFFICIAL INVESTIGATOR FOR STRANGE HAPPENINGS IN THIS CITY, THOUGH MY CONTACTS TELL ME THAT THE POLICE HERE DON’T REALLY RESPECT HIM BECAUSE OF LOOKS AND BEHAVIOR AND DON’T REALLY NOTICE HIS EXCEPTIONAL ABILITIES AS A DETECTIVE.

MISTER ADAMS (not shown, radio, and word box)

NO DOUBT THEY NOW SEND HIM TO THESE KINDS OF THINGS BECAUSE THEY DON’T WANT TO BE BOTHERED WITH THEM AND SO THEY SEND ONE WHO THEY SEE AS A BOTHER AS WELL TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THEY’RE ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING, BUT THEY DON’T REALIZE THAT THEY’RE BECOMING A BOTHER TO ME BY SENDING SOMEONE AS TALENTED AS HIM.

MISTER ADAMS (not shown, radio, and word box)

YOU DON’T KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO STAY ONE STEP AHEAD WITH THAT MAN.

PANEL 5

Julie’s back is shown as she is wearing a jacket, as well as a baseball cap and sun glasses. She’s using a cell phone. In the background are the crime scene and the crowd.

ANOTHER PUNK ROCKER (loud and annoyed)

AH’ COME ONE, MAN, LET’S US SEE!

JULIE (undercover)

WELL, I’M NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO GET ANYTHING BECAUSE OF THAT WILD CROWD, BUT IT COULD BE A VAMPIRE ATTACK SINCE IT HAPPENED NEAR A CLUB.

MISTER ADAMS (not shown and from cell phone)

NORMALLY, I WOULD AGREE WITH YOU, BUT SINCE WE FOUND OUT THAT SOME OF THE ALCHEMY BOOKS WERE MISSING WHEN WE MADE AN ATTEMPT TO COLLECT THEM ALL AFTER THE SMOKE CLEARED, IT COULD BE ANYTHING THESE DAYS IF SOME FOOL STARTED MESSING WITH THE CONTENTS OF THE BOOK IF THEY MANAGED TO FIGURE OUT SOME PARTS OF IT.

JULIE (undercover)

YEAH, YEAH, I GET YA. IT WOULD BE ALCHEMY MAYHEM IN NEW YORK.

PANEL 6

In the control room of Department S.N., Mister Adams is shown, while in the background some workers working on the computers.

MISTER ADAMS (charming and in charge)

YOU MIND AS WELL COME BACK IF IT’S GOING TO BE A CIRCUS THERE AND THE LAST THING WE NEED RIGHT NOW IS TO DRAW ANY KIND OF ATTENTION SINCE THINGS ARE MOSTLY ON RED ALERT FOR US WHEN IT COMES TO SECRECY.

MISTER ADAMS (charming and in charge)

I’LL JUST HAVE TO RELY ON MY CONTACTS AND SEE IF THEY CAN COME UP WITH ANYTHING.

PAGE 15

PANEL 1

Detective Harrison and Officer Rick are taking a look at the dead and eaten up body of Jacob’s. Officer Rick looks like he’s about to throw up.

DETECTIVE HARRISON (chilling)

OK NOW, LET’S SEE WHAT WE HAVE HERE.

PANEL 2

Same as panel 1, but Officer Rick goes behind a garbage can and pukes.

DETECTIVE HARRISON (chilling)

YEAH, THAT’S PRETTY MUCH THE DIRECT VERSION ON WHAT THIS IS WHEN IT COMES TO SEEING IT.

PANEL 3

Detective Harrison and Officer Rick walk away from the crime scene where the punk rocker audience are still trying to get a look at the body. Officer Rick is wiping his mouth with a handkerchief.

ONE OF THE PUNK ROCKERS (loud and annoyed)

HEY! YOU, @#$@#$%S! HOW COME THOSE TWO GOT TO SEE THE BODY?!

PANEL 4

A close frontal view of the Detective Harrison and Officer Rick, who’s behind him, and Officer Rick is looking behind him to see if anyone is near enough to hear what he would say as if the words would be embarrassing.

OFFICER RICK (low tone, nervous, and cautious)

SO, SIR, IS IT VAMPIRE OR WEREWOLF?

DETECTIVE HARRISON (chilling)

HUH?

OFFICER RICK (nervous and cautious)

WHAT WE TALKED ABOUT ONCE AT THAT BAR AND THE PRECINCT.

DIRECTOR HARRISON (chilling)

OH, THAT, WELL, I WOULD SAY NEITHER.

PANEL 5

Another view of Detective Harrison and Officer Rick, but further back and on their left side.

OFFICER RICK (a little nervous and a little confused)

EXCUSE ME, SIR, BUT I’M AFRAID I DON’T FOLLOW.

DETECTIVE HARRISON (chilling)

WELL, SINCE NO ONE’S HERE TO HEAR THIS, ESPECIALLY THE ONES WHO LIKE TO SEE ME GO SIMPLY BECAUSE THAT DON’T LIKE LOOKING ME, MY OPINION IS THAT IT CAN’T BE A VAMPIRE BECAUSE THEY USUALLY KEEP THE BODY INTACT BECAUSE THEIR METHOD OF KILLING SO FAR IS TO SUCK OUT BLOOD, WHILE A WEREWOLF TEARS IT’S PREY APART.

OFFICER RICK (a little nervous and a little confused)

BUT, SIR, THAT BODY WAS OBVIOUSLY….

DETECTIVE HARRISON (chilling)

THERE WAS NO PASSION BEHIND IT, KID, IT WAS LIKE THE KILLER, NO MAKE THAT KILLERS, WERE SIMPLY FEEDING THEMSELVES WITHOUT REALLY ENJOYING IT, THAT THEY SIMPLY WANTED TO FEED A HUNGER, INSTEAD OF A MOUTH WATERING CRAVING, AS IF IT WAS NO DIFFERENT THEN THE THREE MEALS OF THE DAY.

OFFICER RICK (a little nervous and a little confused)

LIKE EATING BREAKFAST WITHOUT REALLY THINKING ABOUT IT BECAUSE IT’S LIKE A DAILY ROUTINE THAT PEOPLE DO.

DETECTIVE HARRISON (chilling)

PRETTY MUCH LIKE THAT, EXCEPT THAT POOR KID WASN’T EXACTLY A POP TART.

PANEL 6

A close view at the two.

OFFICE RICK (a little nervous)

THEN THAT MEANS THAT THERE’S A POSSIBLE THIRD TYPE OF CREATURE THAT NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW ABOUT OUT THERE STALKING PEOPLE AT NIGHT.

DETECTIVE HARRISON (chilling)

THAT PRETTY MUCH ENDS WITH NEW YORK CITY ON HAVING THE LOWEST CRIME RATE AMONG THE TEN LARGEST CITIES IN THE U.S., DOESN’T IT?

PAGE 16

PANEL 1

Back to the crowd of punk rockers at the crime scene, Eddie and Sally are among the crowd and Eddie is smiling.

EDDIE (delusional and amused)
