PAGE 1

PANEL 1

It’ now morning and a showing of the sheriff and he looks depressed, but keeps a commanding stature.

PANEL 2

The back of the sheriff is shown as he watches the morgue people take the bodies of his deputies in body bags. Some of his remaining deputies are there, as well as Doc who’s the head of gathering evidence.

PANEL 3

Doc walks towards the sheriff.

DOC (a bit odd and a little tired)

THIRTY YEARS OF DOING THIS KIND OF BIT AND I NEVER ONCE THOUGHT DEATH COULD GET ANY UGLIER, BUT I WOULD SAY THAT THIS OFFICIALLY PROVES THAT WE HAVE A SERIOUS ANIMAL PROBLEM.

SHERIFF (in charge and a little depressed)

GUESS YOU DON’T NEED TO WAIT FOR THOSE RESULTS ANYMORE, HUH?

PANEL 4

A close look at the back of the sheriff’s head is shown, while Doc is shown in the background. Two 12 year old kids are shown walking towards them. One of them is holding something.

DOC (a bit odd, a little tired, and serious)

I AFRAID I MAY NEVER GET THOSE RESULTS, IN FACT, I THINK IT WAS AN MISTAKE TO SEND IT TO THOSE PEOPLE, SINCE THEY MAY HAVE FOUND IT INTERESTING ENOUGH TO KEEP IT TO THEMSELVES AND MAKE SURE IT STAYS QUIET.

PANEL 5

A closer look at what the kid is holding which is a roll of film.

SHERIFF (not shown and in charge)

DOESN’T THAT SOUND LIKE YOU’RE HAVING A CONSPIRACY THERE?

DOC (not shown)

I WISH….

PAGE 2

PANEL 1

Cindy’s parent’s house is shown and it’s inside the town.

DOC (not shown and word box)

BUT A CONSPIRACY IS A WILD ASSUMPTION CREATED BY SOMEONE WHO THINKS SOMEONE IS OUT TO GET HIM, WHILE MY THEORY IS BASED ON THE FACT THAT THE SAME LADY THAT I HAVE BEEN CALLING LIKE SEVEN TIMES HAS NOW TOLD ME THAT THEY NEVER RECEIVED THE SAMPLE, AND SHE DID IT WITH THE KIND OF TONE THAT SAYS “STAY AWAY FROM THIS OR ELSE!”

PANEL 2

The hallway of the house is shown and the depressed Edward is sitting on the floor with his back on the wall, while Cindy is on the other side doing the same. Edward has some new clothes on and glasses, as well as his pocket protector that he still had.

CINDY (depressed)

YOUR PARENTS WEREN’T THERE, SO IT WAS EASY FOR ME TO GET YOU THE CLOTHES AND YOUR EXTRA GLASSES, BUT I DON’T KNOW IF THAT’S A GOOD THING.

CINDY (depressed)

THEY’RE PROBABLY OUT THERE LOOKING FOR YOU, SINCE YOU DIDN’T COME HOME LAST NIGHT.

PANEL 3

The depressed Edward is shown.

EDWARD (depressed)

SO MUCH FOR OUR THEORY ABOUT A NEW SPECIES, AND THAT IT WAS THE SAME CREATURE.

EDWARD (depressed)

I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE THAT IT WAS ME WHO KILLED MAC…. AND ERIC.

CINDY (not shown and shocked)

THAT’S NOT TRUE!!

PANEL 4

A part of Edward is shown, while Cindy is the main focus.

CINDY (shocked)

WE DON’T KNOW WHAT REALLY HAPPENED TO MAC AND ERIC WAS KILLED IN A CAR ACCIDENT!

EDWARD (partly shown and depressed)

I DOUBT MAC GOT AWAY FROM A CREATURE THAT FAST AND DETERMINED…. AND AS FOR ERIC.

PANEL 5

A part of Cindy is shown, while Edward is the main focus.

EDWARD (depressed)

CINDY, ON THE SAME NIGHT THAT ERIC DIED, I WAS LOOKING AT THE MOON THRU MY TELESCOPE UNTIL FOR SOME REASON I BLACKED OUT, AND THE NEXT THING I KNEW IT WAS MORNING.

EDWARD (depressed)

NOT ONLY THAT, BUT THE WOUND THAT I GOTTEN FROM THE OTHER CREATURE WAS FULLY HEALED WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN IMPOSSIBLE IN THAT AMOUNT OF TIME, BUT I FOOLISHLY IGNORED IT AS IF IT WAS A FLUKE OF SOME KIND.

EDWARD (depressed)

I THINK IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I CHANGED.

PAGE 3

PANEL 1

Both Edward and Cindy are still shown sitting on the floor of the hallway. The upset Cindy has her hands up as she tries to reason with Edward.

CINDY (upset)

EVEN IF IT’S TRUE, IT WASN’T YOU WHO DID IT, IT WAS THAT WOLF CREATURE!

EDWARD (depressed)

I WISH IT WAS THAT SIMPLE, I REALLY DO, BUT THAT CREATURE IS WHAT I WOULD BE WITHOUT THE INTELLIGENCE AND SELF-RESTRAINT TO CONTROL MYSELF, BECAUSE IT’S DRIVE IS BASED ON INSTINCT AND PRIMAL FREEDOM, WHILE THE GRUDGE, THAT YOU KNOW I HAVE WITH JOE AND THE OTHERS, REMAINS, WHICH IS WHY I OBVIOUSLY WENT AFTER THEM WHEN I CHANGED.

EDWARD (depressed)

ALTHOUGH DIFFERENT IN MANY WAYS, THE CREATURE AND I ARE ONE OF THE SAME.

CINDY (upset)

SO WHAT DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD DO?!

EDWARD (depressed)

I DON’T KNOW!…. EVERYTHING IS GOING SO FAST THAT I CAN’T THINK CLEARLY, BUT WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING REAL SOON BEFORE THE NEXT FULL MOON COMES, WHICH IS TONIGHT!

PANEL 2

The right side of the depressed Edward is shown.

EDWARD (depressed)

SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE, SO I WON’T BE ABLE TO BE FREE TO ROAM THE AREA AND PERHAPS KILL SOMEONE, SOMETHING PERHAPS VERY DRASTIC.

PANEL 3

Cindy is now show, but her arms are around her legs, and her chin is on her knees. She looks mad and upset on what Edward just said.

PANEL 4

Same as panel 3.

CINDY (mad and upset)

I’M NOT TELLING YOU WHERE MY PARENTS KEEP THE SILVER.

PANEL 5

Alec’s father’s truck is shown driving on the road. The bed is empty except for Alec being on it which shows that they sold their stolen loot. It’s getting dark.

EDWARD (not shown and word box)

FINE, BUT WE NEED TO STOP BY THE HARDWARE STORE, AS WELL AS THINK UP AN EXCUSE TO TELL THE MANAGER ON WHY WE’RE BUYING SO MUCH CHAIN.

SARAH (from the truck and a little depressed)

WOW, BABY, WE DIDN’T EVEN MAKE HALF AS MUCH AS WE USUALLY DO.

JOE (from the truck and cool, but a jerk)

THAT’S BECAUSE WE DIDN’T HAVE AS MUCH TO SELL AS WE USUALLY DO, BECAUSE ALEC HERE DIDN’T BOTHER TO THINK OF BORROWING HIS OLD MAN’S TRUCK MUCH SOONER, WHICH WE COULD HAVE USED WHEN WE WERE TAKING THE STUFF FROM OUR LAST HOUSE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

PAGE 4

PANEL 1

Suddenly! The sheriff’s car comes in front of the truck in a dramatic way!

JOE (not shown, surprised, and from the truck)

WHAT THE #$@%!

PANEL 2

The sheriff’s foot is shown on the ground as he gets out of his car, which the door is only shown.

SHERIFF (foot only shown)

HEY, JOE, GUESS WHAT?

PANEL 3

The sheriff is shown holding photos of Joe, Sarah, Mac, and Alec next to the shed, and Alec and Mac are putting the stolen loot inside.

SHERIFF (in charge and happy)

I FINALLY GOT YA, JOE…. YOU…. AS WELL AS WHAT’S LEFT OF YOUR SAD AND PATHETIC LOOKING FRIENDS….AND NOT EVEN YOU’RE SMART-ASS MOUTH IS GOING TO SAVE YOU.

PANEL 4

Joe and Sarah are out of the truck. Alec is still on the bed. Alec and Sarah look scared, while Joe looks angry.

SHERIFF (not shown)

TURNS OUT SOME KIDS WITH A CAMERA FOUND YOU DOING SOMETHING YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE DONE AND TOOK SOME PICTURES, AND THEY SAID I COULD HAVE THE NEGATIVES FOR TEN BUCKS

SHERIFF (not shown)

NOW I COULD HAVE SIMPLY TAKEN THEM, BEING A SHERIFF AND ALL, BUT THOSE TWO HAD SO BRIGHTENED MY DAY THAT I WAS WILLING TO PAY THEM.

PANEL 5

Joe’s hand is shown reaching inside his jacket.

SHERIFF (not shown)

I SEE THAT THE YO-YO BOY ISN’T WITH YOU, BUT DON’T WORRY, YOU’LL SOON BE ONE BIG UNHAPPY FAMILY BEHIND BARS.

PAGE 5

PANEL 1

In a dramatic way, Joe brings out a gun and starts firing! Sarah and Alec are shocked by this!

PANEL 2

The sheriff quickly goes behind his car as he gets shot at! His car gets hit several times.

SHERIFF (surprised, loud, and threaten)

SON OF A….!!!

PANEL 3

One of the bullets hits a tire of the sheriff’s car!

PANEL 4

Joe and Sarah are now again Alec’s dad’s truck and is quickly heading away from the sheriff! Alec, who is on the bed of the truck, is holding on for his life!

PANEL 5

The sheriff has his gun out and is shooting at the direction where Joe and the others are!

PANEL 6

The sheriff is shown next to his car that has a flat tire! He’s mad at the fact that Joe and the gang got away!

SHERIFF (loud and angry)

$#%@!

PAGE 6

PANEL 1

Edward’s house is shown.

CINDY (not shown and word box)

ARE YOU SURE THIS IS A GOOD IDEA?

PANEL 2

Cindy and Edward are inside the basement and Edward is in a strange looking room where the door is opened. Cindy is outside of the room. Edward is setting up the chains. There are some stuff outside of the room which shows that the room was being used for storage.

EDWARD (busy)

IN THE FIFTIES, THE LAST OWNERS OF THIS HOUSE BUILT THIS “BOMB SHELTER” BECAUSE OF THE RED SCARE PROPAGANDA, WHICH OF COURSE WOULDN’T HAVE SAVED THEM IF A NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST EVER DID HAPPENED, BECAUSE IT’S SO BADLY DESIGNED AND WOULDN’T EVEN PROTECT THEM FROM THE RADIATION.

EDWARD (busy)

BUT EVEN SO, I BELIEVE THE WALLS AND LOCKS ARE DURABLE ENOUGH TO HOLD ME WHILE I’M THE CREATURE, ESPECIALLY WITH THE CHAINS.

CINDY (concern)

AND WHAT IF IT ISN’T ENOUGH TO HOLD YOU IN? WHAT IF YOU MANAGE TO GET OUT?

EDWARD (busy)

IT HAS TO BE, BECAUSE WE DON’T HAVE MANY OPTIONS AT OUR DISPOSAL TO BE CHOOSEY, SINCE THE MOON WILL BE OUT WITHIN TWO HOURS.

PANEL 3

A part of the busy Edward is shown, while Cindy is in the background and the main focus.

CINDY (concern)

WHAT ABOUT YOUR PARENT’S, EDWARD?

CINDY (concern)

THEY’LL SURELY BE HOME SOON AND WILL KNOW THAT YOU’RE DOWN HERE FROM THE NOISES YOU’LL BE MAKING!

CINDY (concern)

YOU DON’T WANT TO END UP KILLING YOUR OWN PARENTS!

EDWARD (partly shown and busy)

THE ROOM IS PRETTY MUCH SOUND PROOF, AND EVEN IF THEY MANAGED TO HEAR ME, THE LOCKS ARE IN THE INSIDE OF THE SHELTER.

PANEL 4

Cindy’s back is shown and the busy Edward is shown inside the room.

CINDY (concern)

BUT THEY’LL FIND OUT ABOUT YOUR CONDITION AND SOON THE WHOLE TOWN!

CINDY (concern)

YOUR LIFE WILL BE FOREVER RUINED AND ALL OF YOUR DREAMS, EVEN THE ONE WITH NASA, WILL BE GONE, BECAUSE YOU’LL SURELY END UP BEING A HUMAN LAB RAT OR SOMETHING!

EDWARD (busy)

LIKE I SAID, WE DON’T HAVE MANY OPTIONS, AND I’M MORE CONCERN WITH MY CONSCIOUS, THEN MY FUTURE, ESPECIALLY WHEN MY TORN CLOTHING IS EVIDENT THAT MY TRANSFORMATIONS ARE BECOMING MORE ADVANCED EACH TIME, AS IF MY BODY WAS ADAPTING TO THE BIOCHEMICAL CHANGES.

EDWARD (busy)

I’LL NO DOUBT END UP BECOMING LIKE THE CREATURE THAT INFECTED ME WITH THIS AFFLICTION.

PANEL 5

The outside of Edward’s house is shown as his parents park the car in the driveway. It’s getting darker.

FRANK (angry and from the car)

I CAN’T BELIEVE WE HAD TO GO THRU ALL THIS TO FIND THAT STUPID KID!

PAGE 7

PANEL 1

Frank is heading towards the front door of the house and his wife is behind him. Frank is angry, while his wife looks depressed.

FRANK (angry)

I SWEAR IF I FIND THAT BOY, I’M GOING TO GIVE HIM THE BEATING THAT HE DESERVED FOR SUCH A LONG TIME!

FRANK (angry and direct)

THIS IS THE LAST STRAW FOR HIM….!

PANEL 2

Frank turns his head to his wife direction and looks surprised, but still angry.

EDWARD’S MOTHER (not shown)

FOR HIM BEING A NERD, FRANK, IS THAT WHAT YOU MEAN?

FRANK (angry and in disbelief)

HONEY, YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND! THAT KID OF OURS HAS….!

EDWARD’S MOTHER (not shown)

HAS HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR BULLYING WHICH YOU BELIEVE IS WHAT’S BEING A FATHER’S ABOUT.

PANEL 3

The depressed mother is shown.

EDWARD’S MOTHER (not shown)

THE SHERIFF MUST HAVE FOUND HIM AND TOLD HIM THAT HE STOPPED HERE WHICH NO DOUBT MADE HIM BELIEVE THAT YOU WERE GOING TO USE IT AS AN EXCUSE TO HASSLE HIM JUST LIKE YOU USE EVERYTHING ELSE THAT MAKES IT SEEM THAT HE’S A BAD KID, WHICH IS PROBABLY WHY HE DIDN’T COME HOME LAST NIGHT.

EDWARD’S MOTHER (depressed)

BUT HE’S A GOOD BOY, A GOOD BOY WHO HAS WORKED HARD TO GET WHERE HE’S AT AND HAS DONE NOTHING TO ASHAMED US, BUT IT’S LIKE YOU’RE STILL THE FOOTBALL QUARTERBACK FROM OUR TIME IN HIGH SCHOOL.

PANEL 4

Frank is shown and looks shocked that his own wife is telling him these things as if it was the first time ever.

EDWARD’S MOTHER (depressed)

WHERE YOU WERE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION, THE ONE THAT THE GIRLS WANTED AND GUYS WANTED TO BE, AND I WAS THE ONE LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE YOU’RE GIRLFRIEND, AS WELL AS THE FACT THAT YOU THOUGHT YOU HAD THE RIGHT TO PICK ON PEOPLE LIKE EDWARD BY HANGING THEM ON FLAG POLES AND OTHER CRUEL THINGS SIMPLY FOR A LAUGH, WHICH I’LL ADMIT I TOO THOUGHT WAS FUNNY AT THE TIME.

PANEL 5

In a drama like scene, Frank is on the steps of the porch looking at his wife who seems to have had it.

EDWARD’S MOTHER (depressed)

TO YOUR PRIDE, YOU EXPECTED EDWARD TO BE LIKE YOU, ATHLETIC AND POPULAR, AS IF BEING A COPY OF YOU WAS THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERED, AND WHEN IT TURNED OUT HE WAS LIKE THE ONES THAT YOU USED TO PICK ON, YOU SCORNED HIM AS IF HE DID SOMETHING REALLY TERRIBLE.

FRANK (confused)

BUT….

EDWARD’S MOTHER (depressed)

HE’S NOT YOU, FRANK, NOR SHOULD HE NEED TO BE, BUT YOU’LL NEVER ACCEPT THAT BECAUSE YOU’RE TOO STUBBORN AND ANGRY TO EVER ACCEPT ANYTHING THAT DOESN’T GO YOUR WAY AND SOON THINGS WILL GO BACK TO THE WAY THEY WERE AS IF THIS DISCUSSION NEVER HAPPENED.

EDWARD’S MOTHER (depressed)

YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO BE RIGHT AND ANYBODY WHO DISAGREES WITH YOU WOULD BE WRONG, BECAUSE OF PAST GLORY THAT YOU CAN’T LET GO.

PAGE 8

PANEL 1

The back of Edward’s mother is shown; while in the background are the house and the confused Frank.

EDWARD’S MOTHER (depressed)

I’M SORRY, FRANK, BUT I’M TIRED, TIRED OF WAITING FOR YOU TO CHANGE, TO BE THE FATHER THAT EDWARD DESERVES, AND TIRED WITH MYSELF FOR PRETENDING THAT NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THIS FAMILY WHEN THERE IS.

PANEL 2

Frank is now a little closer to his depressed wife and looks worried on what she going to say next.

FRANK (confused and worried)

HONEY, PLEASE, WE CAN WORK IT OUT. WE CAN MAKE IT BETTER.

EDWARD’S MOTHER (depressed)

IT’S LIKE I SAID, IT WOULD BE AS IF THIS DISCUSSION NEVER HAPPENED, MEANING YOU’LL GO BACK TO YOUR WORD LIKE SO MANY TIMES IN THE PAST.

PANEL 3

Edward is still working on the shelter room in the basement.

EDWARD’S MOTHER (not shown and word box)

I WANT A DIVORCE, FRANK.

PAGE 9

PANEL 1

Alec’s dad’s truck is shown speeding on the road! Alec, who’s in the back part is holding on for his life and looks terrified.

SARAH (partly shown and scared)

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO, JOE?!

SARAH (partly shown and scared)

THE SHERIFF NOW HAS WHAT HE NEEDS TO PUT US AWAY AND WHEN HE FINDS MAC’S BODY, HE’LL NO DOUBT THINK WE DID IT!

SARAH (partly shown, loud, and scared)

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?!!

JOE (partly shown, loud, and angry)

I DON’T KNOW!!!

PANEL 2

The angry and frustrated Joe is shown driving and the scared Sarah is next to him!

JOE (angry and frustrated)

WE GOT TO GET THE $#%@ OUT OF THIS TOWN BEFORE THE SHERIFF HAS HIS GOONS COME AFTER US, BUT WE’RE GOING TO NEED MONEY, MORE MONEY THEN WHAT WE GOT FROM THE STUFF WE SOLD OR WE’RE NOT GOING TO MAKE IT!

PANEL 3

The outside of the speeding truck is shown again and Alec is still holding on!

ALEC (stupid, scared, loud, and pathetic)

JOE?! COULD YOU PLEASE STOP THE TRUCK SO I CAN COME INSIDE THE TRUCK WITH YOU GUYS?!

JOE (partly shown, loud, and angry)

#$%@ YOU, MORON!

PANEL 4

In the basement of Edward’s house, Edward is testing the installed chains to make sure they were done right by pulling them. Cindy is no where to be seen.

PANEL 5

As if looking thru Frank’s eyes, Edward is still testing the chains inside the shelter room.

PAGE 10

PANEL 1

As being pushed, Edward hit a wall hard!

PANEL 2

The dazed Edward tries to get up. His glasses have dropped from his head and shadow partly covers his being.

FRANK (not shown, angry, and a little crazy)

SHE’S GONE. YOUR MOTHER DECIDED TO PACK UP AND LEAVE ME BECAUSE OF YOU, A MOMMA’S BOY WHO HAS DONE NOTHING BUT DISGUST ME BECAUSE OF WHAT A PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A MAN YOU ARE!

EDWARD (hurt, dazed, and thought balloon)

WHA….?!

PANEL 3

As if looking up, the somewhat insanely angry Frank is show as he looks down at his son who is partly shown!

FRANK (angry and a little crazy)

A GEEK WHO DOES NOTHING BUT PLAY KIDDIES GAMES, WATCHES THOSE STUPID SPACE ALIEN MOVIES, AND READS COMIC BOOKS WHICH PROBABLY MEANS THAT YOU’RE GOING TO DIE OF OLD AGE WITHOUT EVER LOSING YOUR VIRGINITY!.... PATHETIC!

FRANK (angry and a little crazy)

ALL I EVER ASKED OF YOU WAS THAT YOU START ACTING LIKE A MAN! SOMEONE TO BE PROUD OF!

PANEL 4

As if looking down at Edward, Edward looks up at his father’s direction!

EDWARD (hurt, brave, and annoyed)

YOU MEAN BE SOME DUMB JOCK WHO PUSHES EVERYONE AROUND TO FEEL LIKE A BIG MAN, THEN END UP LIKE YOU WHO THOUGHT HIS HIGH SCHOOL GLORY WOULD FOLLOW HIM OR AT LEAST HAVE A SON WHO WOULD BE NOTHING MORE THEN A COPY OF YOU, SO YOU COULD LIVE YOU’RE GLORY DAYS AGAIN THRU HIM!

EDWARD (hurt, brave, and annoyed)

AND YOU CALL ME A PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A MAN!

PANEL 5

CINDY’S FATHER (nervous and scared)

YOU…. YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO THIS, SON.

JOE (cool, but a jerk)

LAST TIME I CHECKED, YOU AREN’T MY OLD MAN, WHICH IS A GOOD THING BECAUSE I WOULD ALREADY HAVE PULLED THE TRIGGER AND STILL WILL IF YOU DON’T EMPTY THE CASH REGISTER. THAT GOES FOR THE REST OF YOU WITH YOUR WALLETS AND PURSES.

SARAH (mean, sassy, and annoyed)

AS WELL AS ANY JEWELRY AND THE KEYS FROM WHOEVER OWNS THE SPORTS CAR OUTSIDE.

ALEC (stupid and worried)
