PANEL 1

In the government stronghold where the slug experiments are being made, a highly secure metal door is shown and has a sign that says “WARNING: BREEDING ROOM”. A hand scanner is next to the door.

 

PANEL 2

Inside the room are container modules that a human body can fit into and some scientists with protective suits are checking the equipment. Tubes are connected to the modules as if something would come from them and go somewhere else.

 

PANEL 3

Thru the glass panel of one of the modules is a zombie that’s moaning and acting dazed.

 

PANEL 4

Same as panel 4, but the zombie’s head starts to crack and slugs come out.

 

PANEL 5

The new slugs are shown going thru the tube.

 

PANEL 6

Inside the tube and behind the slugs, they are about to reach the end of the tube.

PANEL 1

A highly advanced and secured giant glass container is holding a huge amount of slugs. More protective suited scientists are there to monitor the equipment.

DOCTOR HARDMAN? WE’RE READY WHEN YOU ARE.

PANEL 1

Another room is shown to demonstrate a perhaps finished product to the people funding the project behind it. The slightly nervous Doctor Hardman walks towards the two lab assistants who just finished putting everything together.

 

DOCTOR HARDMAN (slightly nervous and in charge)

OK, GOOD, NOW LET’S TEST EVERYTHING SO NOTHING GOES WRONG WHEN SHOWING THE POLITICIANS, MILITARY AND CORPORATE PEOPLE ON WHAT WE GOT SO FAR.

 

DOCTOR HARDMAN (a little nervous and thought balloon)

I PRAY TO GOD THAT NOTHING DOES GO WRONG FROM THIS RUSH JOB I WAS FORCED TO DO.

 

PANEL 2

Director O’Dea makes her appearance while Doctor Hardman and his two assistants test the equipment.

 

DIRECTOR O’DEA (cold and in charge)

YOU HAVE 5 MINUTES, DOCTOR, UNTIL THEY ALL COME IN LINE FOR YOUR DEMONSTRATION.

 

DOCTOR HARDMAN (focused on his work)

WE’LL BE READY. WE JUST NEED TO MAKE A FEW MINOR ADJUSTMENTS.

 

PANEL 3

An unanimated corpse is brought into the room on a cart slab and is restrained. It has tubes attached to it’s head that goes to a container that’s attached to the cart. Behind them is a caged lab mouse.

 

PANEL 4

Behind the corpse is a glass container of a slug that looks normal, but has been altered.

 

PANEL 5

The screens that the heads use to communicate with the base are fizzing as if something is about to happen.

 

PANEL 6

Same as panel 5, but now the screens are showing the heads that are funding the project.

PANEL 1

Doctor Hardman is like the center of the demonstration that is about to happen with all the stuff that’s going to be used surrounding him.

 

DOCTOR HARDMAN (nervous, but trying to act brave)

AHEM, WELL, AHEM, WELL I’M GLAD YOU COULD ALL MAKE IT TO THIS DEMONSTRATION WHICH WILL PRESENT THE FIRST STEP OF NOT ONLY THE FUTURE OF WARFARE AGAINST OUR ENEMIES, BUT THE PROLONGING OF THE HUMAN LIFESPAN.

 

PANEL 2

The glass container with the slug is being brought to the corpse.

 

DOCTOR HARDMAN (not shown)

NOW YOU’RE PROBABLY WONDERING HOW A DEAD BODY IS GOING TO HELP WITH LIFE OF THE UNITED STATES…. WELL IT’S BECAUSE THE SLUG’S ABILITY TO PRODUCE THE SLIM IS A REFLEX WHEN IN CONTACT WITH A ORGANIC BRAIN AND ONCE IT IS INSERTED INTO THE HOST OVER THERE WE WILL “MILK” THE NOW ALTERED SLIM TO BE USED FOR REFINING WHEN CREATING THE NEW DRUG.

 

PANEL 3

Doctor Hardman heads towards the door to leave the room.

 

DOCTOR HARDMAN (nervous, but trying to be brave)

NOW SINCE I’M NOT WEARING ANY PROTECTIVE GEAR AND I BELIEVE MY ASSISTANTS ARE MORE FAMILIAR WITH THE TRANSFER EQUIPMENT SINCE I BEEN BUSY MOVING DNA MOLECULES AROUND, I’LL LEAVE IT TO THEM WHILE I CONTINUE TO LECTURE THE PRESENTATION OUTSIDE THE ROOM.

 

PANEL 4

Doctor Hardman is shown next to Director O’Dea behind a glass window.

 

DIRECTOR O’DEA (cold, in charge, and whisper)

BETTER NOT MESS THIS UP, DOCTOR HARDMAN.

 

DOCTOR HARDMAN (nervous and thought balloon)

IF I DO YOU’LL NO DOUBT MAKE SURE THAT I GET ALL THE BLAME WHILE YOU MAKE YOURSELF LOOK LIKE SOME INNOCENT PERSON IN CHARGE WHO DIDN’T KNOW ONE OF HER EMPLOYEES WAS GOING TOO FAR WITH THEIR EXPERIMENT JUST TO SAVE YOUR OWN HIDE.

 

DOCTOR HARDMAN (nervous and thought balloon)

I AM SO GOING TO GET IT IF THIS DOESN’T GO RIGHT.

 

PANEL 5

The assistants in protective suits put a tube to the corpse’s mouth that lead to the glass container that the slug is in.

 

DOCTOR HARDMAN (not shown and speaker)

MY ASSISTANTS ARE NOW INSERTING THE SLUG INTO THE HOST AND THOSE TUBES ATTACHED TO THE HEAD WILL EXTRACT THE SLIME ONCE THE SLUG STARTS PRODUCTION WHICH OF COURSE IS WHY THE CORPSE IS RESTRAINED SINCE WE ALL KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN.

 

DOCTOR HARDMAN (not shown and speaker)

AFTER THE EXTRACTION IS DONE, THEY’LL BE GIVING A SAMPLE OF THE SLIME TO THE LAB MOUSE OVER THERE TO DEMONSTRATE THE PERFORMANCE ENHANCING POTENTIAL THAT IS HAS TO ORGANICS THAT ARE STILL ALIVE.

 

DOCTOR HARDMAN (not shown and word box)

NOW PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS IS A CRUDE METHOD COMPARED TO WHAT WE PLAN ON HOW TO DO IT WHEN IT COMES TO HUMANS.

The slug is now moving thru the tube as it senses a host on the other end.

The eye of the corpse’s open and starts to moan!

 

PANEL 2

One of the lab assistants is about to turn the knob which will activate the “milking” of the slim from the zombie’s head. The dazed zombie tries to struggle out of it’s restraints.

 

LAB ASSISTANT #1 (focused on work)

NOW READY TO EXTRACT THE CONTENTS FROM THE HOST’S HEAD.

 

PANEL 3

To the assistants’ surprise, the zombies left arm breaks the restraint that was holding it and it’s starting to mutate!

WHAT THE HELL?!

WHAT’S HAPPENING TO THE CORPSE?!

 

PANEL 4

The mutating corpse gets more massive in muscles and breaks out from the rest of the restraints! The lab assistants run amok hoping to escape!

The shocked Director O’Dea and Doctor Hardman watch the horror!

 

PANEL 6

Director O’Dea is partly shown and the scared Doctor Hardman turns his head to look at her! Crashing sounds are heard!

 

DOCTOR HARDMAN (panicking)

I TOLD YOU!!! I WARNED YOU THAT SOMETHING BAD WOULD HAPPEN IF WE RUSHED THINGS WITH THESE CREATURES!!!

 

DIRECTOR O’DEA (partly shown, cold, in charge, and a little nervous)

GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF, DOCTOR! THIS ISN’T THE TIME TO PANIC WHEN WE HAVE A SERIOUS CRISIS TO DEAL WITH!

The people in the view screens are shocked by what they see except a business man who looks angry!

 

BUSINESS MAN (from view screen and angry)

WHAT IS HAPPENING THERE?!! I DEMAND AN ANSWER ON WHAT YOU PEOPLE ARE DOING OVER THERE!!

The mutating zombie continues to rampage as it’s skin seems to harden while retaining the rotting corpse look!

 

BUSINESS MAN (not shown, speaker, and angry)

DO YOU HEAR ME?!!

The mutated zombie lifts a screaming lab assistant with one arm!

 

BUSINESS MAN (not shown, speaker, and angry)

WE WERE PROMISED THE FUTURE OF SOLDIER ENHANCEMENT AND THIS IS WHAT YOU GIVE US AFTER POURING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS INTO THIS PROJECT?!!

The business man in the screen looks shocked as if something is coming towards him!

Same as panel 4, but the lab assistant is thrown at the screen and breaks it!

All the lab assistants there are dead and the mutated zombie stands there as if trying to think what to do next!

Director O’Dea and Doctor Hardman are running in the hallway and no doubt heading for someplace safe! O’Dea is using her cell phone! A red alert siren is heard!

 

DIRECTOR O’DEA (cold, in charge, and serious)

SECURITY! WE HAVE A SITUATION IN THE DEMONSTRATION ROOM THAT REQUIRES HEAVY ARTILLERY! IMMEDIATE SHOOT TO KILL! REPEAT! IMMEDIATE SHOOT TO KILL! DON’T LET IT HAVE A CHANCE TO GO ON FOR ANOTHER SECOND!

 

PANEL 2

Geared up soldiers grab their guns on the rack as they hurry up to face the enemy!

 

SOLDIER IN CHARGE (not shown and loud)

MOVE IT, PEOPLE, MOVE IT!

 

PANEL 3

The mutated zombie breaks thru the security doors allowing him to leave the demonstration room in a way that reveals superhuman strength!

 

PANEL 4

The feet of the soldiers that are running towards the creature are shown!

 

PANEL 5

The hallway is shown as well as the mutated zombie’s shadow! A roar is heard!

PANEL 1

The soldiers are there and ready their heavy artillery for the coming creature! The creature’s roar is heard!

 

SOLDIER IN CHARGE (calm, ready, and in charge)

HERE IT COMES SO EVERYONE STAY CHILLY.

 

SOLDIER IN CHARGE (calm, ready, and in charge)

THE MOMENT YOU SEE IT IS WHEN YOU START BLASTING THAT THING INTO LITTLE PIECES.

The mutated zombie reveals itself and the ends of the guns are shown aimed at him!

 

PANEL 3

The left side of the soldiers is shown as they start firing their guns!

 

ONE OF THE SOLDIERS (loud and excited)

GET’EM!!!

 

PANEL 4

The right side of the mutated zombie is shown as bullets bounce off it!

 

PANEL 5

The front of the soldiers is shown as they stop firing when they realize it has no effect which spooks them!

 

ONE OF THE SOLDIERS (depressed, spooked, and low tone)

AH’ CRAP.

 

PANEL 6

The opened mouth of the mutated zombie is shown as it gives out an angry roar!

PANEL 1

Back to Director O’Dea and Doctor Hardman, Director O’Dea is still talking to her cell phone, while Doctor Hardman looks around looking scared! O’Dea acts impatiently as she demands an answer from her call!

 

DIRECTOR O’DEA (angry, cold, and demanding)

STRIKE UNIT?! STRIKE UNIT?!! DAMMIT, SOMEONE ANSWER ME! HAVE YOU TAKEN CARE OF THE PROBLEM OR NOT?! STRIKE UNIT?!!!

 

PANEL 2

Same as panel 1, but Director O’Dea is shocked as she hears screams of terror and pain from her cell phone! Doctor Hardman also hears it and looks like he’s about to scream because of the madness that going on!

 

PANEL 3

The soldiers are still firing at the wild mutated zombie who has a hold of one of those soldiers who is screaming and trying to break loose! Some of the soldiers are already dead!

 

ONE OF THE SOLDIERS (loud and stressed)

IT’S NOT GOING DOWN!!!

 

PAGE 11

 

PANEL 1

The mutated zombie slams the soldier it’s holding so hard to the floor that the impact crushes the soldier and kills him! Blood splatters everywhere!

 

PANEL 2

The mutated zombie hits one of the soldiers which make him fly off because of how powerful the impact is! The remaining soldiers are still firing!

 

PANEL 3

The flying soldier goes thru the door that leads to Doctor Hardman’s lab that has the rest of the altered slugs!

 

PANEL 4

The soldier that went thru the door is lying on the floor and is seriously injured!

 

INJURED SOLDIER (in pain and low tone)

“COUGH!” HELP ME.

 

PANEL 5

Same as panel 4, but the mutate zombie’s foot crushes the injured soldier and blood splatters everywhere!

 

PANEL 6

The glass container with the altered slugs is shown while the mutated zombie is shown in the background!

The last two soldiers are in the hallway and firing at the direction that the mutated zombie is at!

 

PANEL 2

The bullets bouncing off the back of the mutated zombie startles it and it starts to wildly move forward in to the lab!

The wild mutated zombie trashes everything that’s in it’s way like a mindless beast!

 

PANEL 4

The mutated zombie accidentally hits the glass container that was holding the altered slugs!

 

PANEL 5

The feet of the mutated zombie is shown as the altered slugs move about on the floor!

 

PANEL 6

One of the altered slugs enters the mouth of the surprised soldier, while the other one watches in shock!

The still living soldier looks at the now zombie soldier who looks at him back with a dazed look.

Back to the lab, the mutated zombie goes thru a wall in the background, while the “special” slug is shown in front and is still in it’s glass container. A scream of pain and terror is heard!

WE ARE NOT JUST FACING THE LIVING DEAD WHERE THEY MOVE AROUND SLOWLY IN A DAZE WHICH MAKES THEM EASY TARGETS OR SLUGS THAT MAY BE QUICK BUT CAN BE TAKEN CARE OF AS LONG AS YOU DON’T GIVE THEM ACCESS TO YOUR BODY!

 

DOCTOR HARDMAN (scared and in disbelief)

WHAT WE HAVE IS A MASSIVE MUTATION THAT HAS MADE THE ANIMATED CORPSE INTO SOMETHING STRONG AND QUICK, AND JUDGING FROM WHAT I HEARD FROM YOUR CELL PHONE, THAT THING IS PROBABLY BULLET PROOF, SINCE I BELIEVE I NOTICED THAT IT’S SKIN WAS HARDENING!

 

DOCTOR HARDMAN (scared and in disbelief)

WHAT KIND OF PROTOCOLS WOULD YOU HAVE FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS CREATED FROM MESSING WITH THINGS THAT WE HAVEN’T YET HAD ANY IDEA OF THEIR WORKINGS TO DO STUFF LIKE RUSHING THINGS WHICH I’LL REMIND YOU WAS YOUR IDEA!

IT WOULD BE DISASTROUS IF THEIR HOSTS MUTATE INTO SOMETHING JUST AS DANGEROUS AND WHEN ARE WE GOING TO BE RESCUED FROM THE OUTSIDE?!

SURELY THEY KNOW SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED HERE AND SEND SOMEONE, AN ARMY MAYBE, TO GET US OUT OF THIS PREDICAMENT!

THEY DO, BUT I’M AFRAID NO ONE WILL BE COMING TO OUR RESCUE.

 WE ARE DEALING WITH EXPERIMENTS THAT MUST BE STRICTLY CONTAINED BECAUSE OF HOW POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS THEY ARE TO THE OUTSIDE WORLD AND A RESCUE PARTLY WOULD JEOPARDIZE QUARANTINE WHICH IS WHAT THE WALLS ARE FOR.

WHAT WE NEED TO DO NOW IS GATHER AS MUCH SURVIVORS THAT WE CAN FIND AND COME UP WITH A PLAN TO TAKE DOWN THIS SUPER ZOMBIE BEFORE HE CAN CAUSE IRREPARABLE DAMAGE TO THIS FACULTY THERE BY MAKING THE PROJECT UNSALVAGEABLE.

The “old Coke” slugs come out of the vents from the ceiling and are eager to get their hosts!

A slug enters thru the mouth of one of the employees’ mouth, while in the background another employee has slugs on him and tries to get them off in a panicking kind of way! Screams of terror are heard!

Dead bodies of the employees are everywhere and a trembling hand is shown as the last employee tries to cling to life!

The eyes of one of the employees open as he begins his existence as a zombie!

The soldier zombie falls to the ground and slugs come out of his now opened head!

It’s revealed to be Director O’Dea and Doctor Hardman. Director O’Dea is the one with the gun which is smoking.

IT WOULD BE BEST FOR US TO HEAD BACK TO THE SECURED ROOM BEFORE WE ARE OVERRUNNED BY THESE THINGS.

 

DOCTOR HARDMAN (scared)

WHAT ABOUT THE OTHERS THAT WE INTENDED TO FIND.

 

DIRECTOR O’DEA (cold and in charge)

IF THEY SHARE THE SAME FATE AS THIS POOR SOUL, THEN FINDING THEM IS THE LAST THING WE WANT.

Somewhere else, it’s Chris Romero’s place and Chris is under the bed covers sleeping, but is moaning because he’s getting woke up by the banging of the door.

Chris gets out from the covers and looks drowsy. The banging at the door continues.

Chris heads towards the direction where the banging is at. He still looks drowsy.

The drowsy Chris is now at the door and has his head leaning on it.

SO ARE WE GOING OVER THERE TO SEE WHAT’S MAKING THE SMOKE?

SURE, WHY NOT, AND IF THERE’S PEOPLE WHO NEED RESCUEING, THEN THAT MEANS THAT WE’LL HAVE PEOPLE WHO OWE US FAVORS.
