PAGE 1

PANEL 1

The theatre that was showing “House of Dracula” is shown. Police cars and yellow tape are there. Next to the doors is a suited guy with a handkerchief covering his mouth, Detective Harrison is walking towards him.

PANEL 2

Detective Harrison is now next to the guy with the handkerchief and is about to enter the building.

DETECTIVE HARRISON (in charge and chilling)

WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE?

PANEL 3

Detective Harrison opens the door and acts like he smells something that’s god awful!

DETECTIVE HARRISON (shocked and a little sick)

JEEZ LOU WHEEZE! HOW LONG HAVE THE BODIES BEEN HERE?!

GUY WITH HANDKERCHIEF (a little uncomfortable)

A WEEK, SIR, SINCE THIS PLACE DOESN’T GET MUCH BUSINESS AND WAS DISCOVERED BY A GUY WHO THOUGHT WATCHING A 40’S HORROR MOVIE ON A MOVIE SCREEN WOULD BE INTERESTING.

PANEL 4

Detective Harrison uses his trench coat to cover his mouth as he enters the building. The guy with the handkerchief

GUY WITH HANDKERCHIEF (a little uncomfortable)

I’M AFRAID THAT THE SMELL IS ONLY SECONDARY WHEN COMPARE TO WHAT THE BODIES LOOK LIKE AND I’M NOT TALKING ABOUT DECOMPOSING HERE, SO PREPARE YOURSELF, SIR.

PANEL 5

Detective Harrison looks at the direction on where the body of the man in the booth is and looks unimpressed.

DETECTIVE HARRISON (chilling and unimpressed)

DON’T WORRY ABOUT ME, PAL, BECAUSE UNDER BAD CIRCUMSTANCES WHICH SEEMS TO BE THE STORY OF MY LIFE….

PAGE 2

PANEL 1

Edward is shown in the activity room and is sitting on the couch there looking depressed.

DETECTIVE HARRISON (not shown and word box)

I’VE ALREADY SEEN SOMETHING THIS GRUESOME BEFORE.

SAM (not shown)

WHAT’S BRINGING YOU DOWN, COMPUTER GEEK?

PANEL 2

The depressed and sitting Edward looks up to the standing Sam who has her arms around herself while chilling.

EDWARD (depressed)

WELL, FIRST, THEY’RE PLANNING TO PUT ME THRU ALL THIS TRAINING THAT I WON’T REMEMBER, BECAUSE IT’S GOING TO BE DURING THE TIME THAT I’M THE BEAST, SO THEY COULD BE PLANNING TO DO GOD KNOWS WHAT WITH ME AND I WOULDN’T BE AWARE OF IT.

PANEL 3

Another view of Edward and Sam.

EDWARD (depressed)

SECOND, ALTHOUGH I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY THEY PUT A CHIP IN THE BACK OF MY NECK, I GOT THIS FEELING THERE’S MORE TO THIS THEN MEETS THE EYE.

SAM (chilling)

THAT’S WHAT I BEEN TELLING YA.

PANEL 4

Another “another” view of Sam and Edward.

EDWARD (depressed)

AND THIRD, THESE “FREE NIGHTS”, WHICH ONE IS TONIGHT, FEELS LIKE SOME PSYCHOLOGICAL METHOD TO MAKE US THINK THAT THEY’RE OUR FRIENDS WHO WE CAN TRUST, SO TO MAKE US EASIER TO CONTROL.

SAM (chilling)

YOU’LL GET NO ARGUMENT FROM ME.

PANEL 5

The middle part of Sam is shown, while Edward’s head is shown.

SAM (partly shown and chilling)

SO WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU ABOUT THIS SO CALLED WONDERFUL PLACE?

EDWARD (depressed)

IT SUCKS BIG TIME TO A POINT THAT YOU CAN’T REALLY MEASURE IT.

SAM (partly shown and chilling)

BING AND O!

SAM (partly shown and chilling)

WE DON’T TRUST THEM AND THEY DEFIANTLY DON’T TRUST US.

PANEL 6

Sam seems to have moved a bit where her back is shown and her mood seems to have changed from chilling to be depressed like Edward. Edward is still sitting in the same position.

SAM (depressed)

BUT SADLY THAT DOESN’T CHANGE THE FACT THAT BEING LESS IGNORANT CAN BE A BAD THING WHEN IT COMES TO PEOPLE LIKE US.

PAGE 3

PANEL 1

A close look at the depressed Sam.

SAM (depressed)

THAT SOMETIMES THE TRUTH DOESN’T SET YOU FREE, BUT IMPRISON YOU EVEN MORE, BECAUSE REALITY CAN AT TIMES BE A REALLY HARSH BITCH.

PANEL 2

A close look at Edward. Sam’s back is shown in the background.

EDWARD (depressed)

SO IT’S UNAVOIDABLE, ISN’T IT, THE TRAUMA THAT COMES AFTER THE INFECTION?

SAM (depressed)

YEAH, NO SHORTCUTS OR FREE PASSES ON WHAT WILL ALWAYS COME NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO.

PANEL 3

Past scene, the savage “Sam” werewolf, a full werewolf, is attacking some people that are around her age!

ONE OF THE GUYS (panicking and loud)

WHAT THE $#%@ HAPPENED TO SAM?!!!

ANOTHER OF THE GUYS (panicking and loud)

OH’ MY GOD!!!

PAGE 4

PANEL 1

Somewhere else, Sandy is in an empty hallway with little lighting and is sitting curled up. She looks like she’s hiding from the boogie man, but really wants to be alone.

SAM (not shown and word box)

THE WORST PART OF THE CURSE IS THAT YOU’RE EITHER A VICTIM, OR WORSE, A KILLER, ESPECIALLY TO THE ONES WHO AT LEAST IRRITATED YOU AS A HUMAN.

EDWARD (not shown and word box)

BECAUSE INTELLIGENCE IS REPLACE BY INSTINCT, SELF-RESTRAINT REPLACED BY PRIMAL FREEDOM.

PANEL 2

Past scene and if looking thru Sandy’s eyes, a rogue and savage full werewolf is attacking her family and killing her mother in front of her! Sandy’s arms and hands are shown!

SANDY (hands only shown, screaming and terrified)

MOTHER!!!

SAM (not shown and word box)

THAT’S A GOOD WAY OF SAYING IT, THOUGH IT WOULD BE NICE IF OTHER THINGS FROM THE CIVILIZED WORLD WOULD GO AWAY LIKE GRUDGE AND JEALOUSY WHICH A NORMAL WOLF KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT.

PANEL 3

Same as panel 2, but the rogue and savage werewolf heads towards Sandy with mouth opened! Sandy screams in terror!

EDWARD (not shown and word box)

I GUESS THAT SAYS THAT OUR HUMAN NATURE “CORRUPTS” THE BEAST OR SOMETHING, WHICH ISN’T A COMFORTING THOUGHT.

PANEL 4

Ralph is shown somewhere else and smoking. He looks a bit depressed.

SAM (not shown and word box)

LIKE WHETHER OR NOT IT’S EITHER THE WOLF OR HUMAN THAT’S THE MONSTER?

PANEL 5

Past scene, the savage Ralph werewolf, a full werewolf, is shown tracking down some unexpected people who are sitting around a camp fire. The area looks like the dry lands of the west with cactus. The Ralph werewolf looks ready to attack it’s preys.

EDWARD (not shown and word box)

WELL, UNLIKE A NORMAL WOLF, A WEREWOLF DOES HAVE SOME HUMAN-LIKE CHARACTERISTICS WHICH SEEMS TO INDICATE A POSSIBILITY THAT IT’S ACTUALLY A HYBRID BETWEEN A HUMAN AND WOLF WHICH MAY INCLUDE IT’S PSYCHOLOGICAL MAKE UP.

SAM (not shown and word box)

I HAVE NO IDEA ON WHAT YOU JUST SAID.

PAGE 5

PANEL 1

Past scene, James is shown near a high school that he works in and in the outside basketball court. He looks like he’s been bitten in the shoulder, but is still strong enough to move around. He has a metal pipe in hand to use as a weapon to use against the one that bit him!

EDWARD (not shown and word box)

IT’S LIKE YOU SAID ABOUT GRUDGES AND JEALOUSY OR ANY OTHER NEGATIVE EMOTIONS WE MAY HAVE AS HUMANS, THINGS THAT A WOLF WOULD HAVE NO CHANCE OF UNDERSTANDING AND THAT MIGHT BE THE MAIN REASON WHY THEY’RE SO DANGEROUS BECAUSE THEY DON’T KNOW HOW TO REACT TO THESE UNFAMILIAR FEELINGS, AND LIKE ANY ANIMAL, THEY GO CRAZY.

PANEL 2

Another past scene, as if looking thru James’ eyes, the savage Sam werewolf is running away and heading towards a corner behind a building.

SAM (not shown and word box)

NOPE, SORRY, IT’S STILL OVER MY HEAD.

PANEL 3

The sun is shown coming up.

PANEL 4

James is shown looking shocked because of what he sees.

SAM (not shown and word box)

BUT I DO UNDERSTAND ONE THING….

PANEL 5

Sam’s hand is shown lying on the pavement.

SAM (not shown and word box)

NO MATTER WHAT PROMISES THEY MAKE….

SAM (not shown and word box)

WHAT LEISURE AND STUFF THEY GIVE US TO MAKE THIS PRISON EASIER FOR US TO BE IN….

SAM (not shown and word box)

OR WHATEVER FUNKY RESTRAINTS THEY PUT ON US….

PAGE 6

PANEL 1

As if the readers were looking up, James is looking down at a naked and unconscious Sam who has just reverted back to her human self.

SAM (not shown and word box)

IT WON’T CHANGE THE FACT THAT THE REAL REASON WE’RE STILL HERE, EVEN WITH THE TREATMENT WE GET FROM SOME PEOPLE, IS BECAUSE WE’RE TERRIFIED OF THE THOUGHT ON WHAT WE WOULD DO IF WE WERE FREED…. THERE BY MAKING EVERYTHING ELSE A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

PAGE 7

PANEL 1

Past scene, a disguised van from Department S.N. arrives to the scene.

PANEL 2

Four silver knights come out from the back of the van. They’re carrying high tech staffs.

PANEL 3

The ends of the four high tech staffs are being pointed at the confused James who is still holding the pipe.

EDWARD (not shown and word box)

SOUNDS LIKE YOU ACTUALLY DO GET IT.

PANEL 4

One of the four silver knights is the main focus.

PANEL 5

A close look at James’ bite wound.

PANEL 6

One of the high tech staffs gets closer to the scared James’ head.

EDWARD (not shown and word box)

PROBABLY BETTER THEN ME.

PANEL 7

A closer look at that same silver knight.

SILVER KNIGHT (serious and demanding)

YOU’RE COMING WITH US!

PAGE 8

PANEL 1

A train station is shown with a lot of people walking around.

PANEL 2

Someone is coming off the passenger train, but only the legs are shown which seem to belong to a woman wearing jeans.

PANEL 3

The woman is revealed to be Cindy from Free Fall. She dresses more confident, but is still humble. She is carrying a duffle bag that shows that she’s moving into New York.

CINDY (happy, but a little nervous)

WELL, NEW YORK, HERE I AM.

PANEL 4

A part of New York City is shown.

CINDY (not shown)

WOW, THIS PLACE IS A LOT BIGGER THEN A SMALL TOWN THAT NO ONE HAS EVER HEARD OF.

PAGE 9

PANEL 1

Cindy is now away from the train station and is trying to hail for a taxi. A taxi passes her by.

CINDY (loud)

TAXI!

CINDY (annoyed and low tone)

DAMMIT!

PANEL 2

A guy that looks like a pimp sees her and believes she’s a runaway that he can use.

CINDY (annoyed and thought balloon)

I KNOW THAT GUY SAW ME.

PANEL 3

Cindy is taken by surprise and turns her head to the direction where the voice is coming from.

PIMP (not shown)

EXCUSE ME, MISS?

PANEL 4

The back of Cindy’s head is shown as she watches the pimp walk towards her as if he was some kind of gentlemen who’s here to help someone that he believes needs it.

PIMP (charming and gentleman-like)

BUT I COULDN’T HELP TO NOT NOTICE YOU IN YOUR TIME OF NEED, ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU LOOK LIKE YOU HAVE NO PLACE TO GO IN SUCH AN ENORMOUS AND SCARY PLACE LIKE THIS CITY.

CINDY (confused and in disbelief)

WHA….?

PANEL 5

The pimp is standing next to the unimpressed Cindy.

PIMP (charming and gentleman-like)

LUCKY FOR YOU THAT I’M THE TYPE OF GUY WILLING TO GIVE OUT A HELPING HAND TO AN UNFORTUNATE YOUNG GIRL LIKE YOU.

CINDY (unimpressed and in disbelief)

UH’ HUH.

CINDY (thought balloon and in disbelief)

OH’ MY GOD! THIS IDIOT THINKS I’M SOME RUNAWAY WITH LITTLE MONEY AND NO PLACE TO GO!

CINDY (thought balloon and in disbelief)

NO DOUBT WANTS ME AS A PROSTITUTE, BASED ON HOW THIS LOSER IS DRESSED!

PANEL 6

The pimp’s hand is shown taking hold of the strap of Cindy’s duffle bag that’s on her shoulder.

PIMP (hand only shown)

SO PLEASE, ALLOW ME TO ESCORT YOU OUT OF THIS TROUBLING TIME THAT YOU’RE GOING THRU.

PAGE 10

PANEL 1

The pimp and Cindy are shown next to each other. The pimp is smiling because he thinks he has her, while Cindy looks unimpressed.

PANEL 2

Same as panel 1, but Cindy sprays a can of pepper spray into the surprised pimp’s eyes! The pimp yells in pain!

PANEL 3

The pimp is on the ground and in pain! He has one of his hands on his eyes! In the background, Cindy’s back is shown as she runs away like someone who knows better then to stick around!

PIMP (angry, in pain, and loud)

YOU BITCH! YOU WHORE! I’LL SLICE YOUR THROAT WIDE OPEN!

CINDY (thought balloon, panicking, and determine)

RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!

PANEL 4

Cindy has now gained great distance from the pimp and has her hands on her knees as she bends over to catch her breath.

PANEL 5

A closer look at Cindy’s head as she lifts it up a bit, while still catching her breath.

CINDY (tired and catching her breath)

WELL…. THAT FIRST IMPRESSION SUCKED.

PAGE 11

PANEL 1

Another part of the city is shown. People are shown walking around and it’s night time.

PANEL 2

Edward is shown walking among the population and is “trying” to enjoy his free night.

PANEL 3

Edward notices something.

PANEL 4

Behind the glass of a store is a poster that’s being displayed which shows the first man on the moon hanging the American flag.

PANEL 5

Edward, now next to the glass, notices something else that’s next to the poster.

PANEL 6

Next to the poster is the movie poster of The Boy Who Cried Werewolf.

PANEL 7

Edward walks quietly away angry.

EDWARD (thought balloon and angry)

THAT IRONY IS SO NOT #%@#EN FUNNY!

PAGE 12

PANEL 1

Sam is waiting outside the Department S.N. building at an area that’s not in the public’s view. There’s a door in front of her.

PANEL 2

Suddenly, the door is opened and Sandy is forced out!

PANEL 3

Sam watches Sandy bang at the door like a spoiled child.

SANDY (childish, spoiled, and loud)

LET ME IN! I DON’T WANT TO GO! ESPECIALLY WITH HER!

SAM (low tone, a little annoyed, and slightly depressed)

SIGN…. PATHETIC.

PANEL 4

Sam’s hand is shown taking hold of the back of the collar of Sandy’s dress.

SAM (hand only shown)

COME ON YOU LITTLE FANATIC. LET’S GET THIS OVER WITH.

SANDY (angry and spoiled)

LET ME GO, YOU FILTHY WOMAN!

PANEL 5

The backs of Sam and Sandy are shown as they walk away with Sam having a hold of Sandy’s arm to force her to go with her.

SANDY (angry and spoiled)

WHY ARE YOU EVEN DOING THIS?! I THOUGHT YOU HATED ME!

SAM (chilling and annoyed)

I DO, BUT I’M GETTING PAID ENOUGH TO DO THIS THAT IT’S ALMOST TOLERABLE.

SANDY (spoiled and angry)

I DON’T CARE! I WANT TO GO BACK!

SAM (chilling and annoyed)

TOUGH!

PANEL 6

Same as panel 5, but the two are further away.

SAM (chilling and annoyed)

IT’S OBVIOUS THAT THEY FIND YOU AS MUCH AS ANNOYING AS I DO AND FEEL THAT THEY NEED A BREAK…. SO POPULAR YOU’RE NOT.

SANDY (spoiled and angry)

LET GO!

PAGE 13

PANEL 1

Ralph is at a bar having a drink. There are other people there and the TV is showing a baseball game.

PANEL 2

Same as panel 1, but Ralph belches a good one that everyone there hears.

PANEL 3

Same as panel 2, but Ralph is now grinning and everyone there is laughing.

ONE OF THE CUSTOMERS

GOOD ONE, RALPH!

RALPH (thought balloon and relieved)

ESO SE SENTÍA BIEN.

(translation: THAT FELT GOOD.)

PANEL 4

At The opened front door of an apartment building is Cindy’s cousin, Kate, who’s glad her cousin has finally arrived.

KATE (excited)

OH’ MY GOD! YOU’RE FINALLY HERE!

PANEL 5

Cindy is shown standing on the sidewalk with duffle bag.

CINDY (grinning and relieved)

HEY, COUSIN, LONG TIME, NO SEE.

PAGE 14

PANEL 1

Cindy enters her new home and Kate leads the way.

KATE (excited)

THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT! THERE ARE LIKE SO MANY THINGS YOU CAN DO IN THIS CITY, OH, AND I MANAGED TO GET YOU A JOB AT THE DINER I WORK AT, YOU KNOW, SO YOU CAN PAY YOUR HALF OF THE RENT AND UTILITIES!

CINDY (cheery)

OF COURSE.

KATE (excited)

SPEAKING OF DINERS, HOW ARE YOUR PARENTS TAKING IT NOW THAT YOU LEFT THE NEST?

CINDY (cheery)

I’M LUCKY THAT THEY DIDN’T DECIDE TO LOCK ME UP IN THE ATTIC.

CINDY (cheery)

MY MOM KEPT SAYING THAT I WAS STILL TOO YOUNG AND HOW DANGEROUS THE CITY CAN BE.

PANEL 2

Kate shows Cindy her bed room. There are boxes in the room.

KATE (excited)

HEY! YOU’RE OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL AND THAT MAKES YOU AS FREE AS A BIRD!

KATE (excited)

WELL, HERE IT IS! HUMBLE, BUT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU TO GET A GOOD NIGHT’S REST!

CINDY (cheery)

LOOKS GREAT, KATE, I THINK I’M REALLY GOING TO LIKE STAYING HERE.

KATE (excited)

OH, AS YOU CAN SEE, YOUR STUFF HAS ARRIVED!

PANEL 3

Cindy opens one of the boxes and Kate is behind her watching her.

KATE (concern)

UM, I HEARD THAT SOME CRAZY THINGS HAPPEN IN FREE FALLS AND THAT PEOPLE DIED BECAUSE OF IT.

CINDY (a little depressed)

YEAH, SOME WILD ANIMAL WAS STALKING THE AREA AND ATTACKING PEOPLE.

KATE (concern)

DID THEY FIND OUT WHAT IT WAS?

PANEL 4

Cindy is looking at a frame she took from the box; the back of the frame is shown.

CINDY (a little depressed)

IT WAS A WOLF…. A CRAZY ONE….

PANEL 5

Past scene, Edward as a savage full werewolf at the junk yard roaring!

PANEL 6

What’s revealed inside the frame is a picture of the moon, the one with Edward’s name on it and the “you are here” arrow from Howl to the Moon #3, page 8, panel 2. A possession of Edward’s that Cindy managed to get to use as a reminder of a friend who could have been more.

CINDY (hands only shown)

BUT IT’S DEAD NOW.

PANEL 7

Past scene, the shocked Edward werewolf gets shot with a silver bullet that happened in Howl to the Moon #6.

PAGE 15

PANEL 1

A close look at the sad Cindy looking at the frame, also Kate is shown on the right and background. Kate notices something about Cindy

PANEL 2

A close look at Cindy’s right cheek where a tear is dropping.

PANEL 3

A close look a Kate who seems to realize that one of the people that were killed at the Free Fall incident was someone special to her.

KATE (thought balloon and sorry)

OH’ CINDY.

PANEL 4

Somewhere in the city, Edward is still walking around.

KATE (not shown and word box)

IF I KNEW, I WOULD HAVE KEPT MY MOUTH SHUT.

PANEL 5

Edward gives out a facial expression that says that he sees someone that he knows.

PAGE 16

PANEL 1

James is shown looking at a high school that reminds him of the life he once had.

PANEL 2

James notices Edward walking towards him.

JAMES (relaxed and in deep thought)

OH’ HI, EDWARD.

EDWARD (calm)

HI.

PANEL 3

Edward is standing next to James and looking at the high school, as well as James.

EDWARD (calm)

YOU USED TO BE A HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER, RIGHT?

JAMES (calm)

YEAH, I TAUGHT MATH AT A DISTRICT IN NEW JERSEY WITH DREAMS OF HELPING YOUNG MINDS REACH THEIR POTENTIAL AND MAKING SURE THAT THEY HAD A FUTURE TO LOOK FOR, ESPECIALLY THE ONES WHO WERE TROUBLEMAKERS.

PANEL 4

The left sides of the two are shown as they still look at the school’s direction.

JAMES (calm)

BUT NOW, AND IT’S KIND OF FUNNY IN A SAD WAY, I’M DOING THE SAME THING BY STAYING FAR AWAY FROM THEM AS POSSIBLE.

JAMES (calm)

I’VE BEEN HEARING THAT THE KIDS HAVE BEEN PUTTING MISSING POSTERS AROUND BACK HOME WITH MY PICTURE ON IT.

EDWARD (calm)

MUST BE HARD TO KNOW THAT THEY CAN’T AND WON’T EVER FIND YOU OR EVEN KNOW IF YOU’RE WHETHER DEAD OR ALIVE.

JAMES (calm)

SOMETHING WE ALL HAVE IN COMMON FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROTECTING THEM FROM US.

PANEL 5

The front of the two are shown.

JAMES (calm)

AS FOR THE F.B.I., WHO USUALLY TAKES OVER KIDNAPPING CASES, WELL, I GOT A FEELING THAT DEPARTMENT S.N. HAS SOME PEOPLE THERE TO PROVIDE SOME MISLEADING INFORMATION AND NO DOUBT DO A GOOD JOB SINCE THEY HAVE SHOWN TO BE VERY GOOD AT DECEPTION.

EDWARD (calm)

A SKILL THAT THEY’RE PROBABLY USING ON US TO GET WHAT THEY WANT WHICH MAY END UP BEING SOMETHING WE WON’T LIKE.

JAMES (calm)

YOU DON’T REALLY TRUST THEM, DO YOU?

PANEL 6

Edward turns his head to James’ direction, while James still looks at the school’s direction.

EDWARD (a little surprised)

AND YOU DO?

JAMES (calm)

WELL…. NO…. I CAN’T HONESTLY SAY THAT I DO. EVEN THOUGH I TELL THE OTHER’S TO TRUST THEM FOR THEIR OWN SAKES, I CAN’T REALLY THINK OF ANYTHING THAT COULD BE USED TO ARGUE ABOUT THEIR REASON’S FOR NOT TRUSTING THEM, BECAUSE THEY MAKE ALMOST PERFECT SENSE.

PAGE 17

PANEL 1

Another view of Edward and James.

EDWARD (calm)

THAT REMINDS ME OF THIS TALK SAM AND I HAD BEFORE WE ALL LEFT THE BUILDING AND SHE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT THE REAL REASON WE FEEL WE NEED TO STAY HERE IS BECAUSE….

JAMES (calm)

WE’RE TOO TERRIFIED TO BE FREED. TOO WORRIED ON WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE UNAWARE POPULATION IF WE’RE NOT RESTRAINED.

PANEL 2

Edward turns his head to look at James who’s still looking at the school that reminds him of the life he once had.

EDWARD (calm)

SO IN A WAY THEY GOT US BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE, HUH?

JAMES (calm)

EVEN PROFESSIONALS NEED TOOLS, AND FOR THEM, OUR SITUATION, OUR VERY LIMITED NUMBER OF CHOICES, IS THEIRS.

PANEL 3

Edward is the main focus and signs.

PANEL 4

Edward starts to walk away from James.

JAMES (calm)

HEADING OUT?

EDWARD (calm)

YEAH, MIND AS WELL USE THE TIME I HAVE LEFT TO GET FAMILIAR WITH THIS CITY, SINCE I’M OBVIOUSLY GOING TO BE HERE FOR A LONG TIME.

JAMES (calm)

I HEAR YOU THERE.

PANEL 5

In the background, the somewhat depressed Edward is walking, while a part of Jeremy is shown as he watches his perhaps next victim walk way.

PANEL 6

Jeremy’s new shades are the main focus and the walking away Edward’s reflection is shown on them.

JEREMY (shades only shown)

NNNNNNNNNNNERD ALERT!

PAGE 18

PANEL 1

Sam is shown pulling the spoiled and resistant Sandy around. The people there notice this and give out facial expressions that show that they’re either a little shocked or annoyed by this.

SANDY (spoiled, angry, and loud)

LET GO!!! I DON’T WANT TO GO ANYWHERE WITH YOU!!!

SAM (annoyed, tired, and in disbelief)

OH’ FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!

SAM (annoyed, tired, and in disbelief)

DOES ANYONE HERE WANT A FREE KID?!!

SANDY (spoiled, angry, and loud)

USING GOD’S NAME FOR THAT IS BLASPHEMY!!!

PANEL 2

Ralph is still at the bar and has his head on the counter because he drank a bit too much.

ONE OF THE CUSTOMERS

SAY, DID ANYONE BET ON THAT BASKETBALL GAME LAST NIGHT?

PANEL 3

James is still looking at the high school.

PANEL 4

A closer look at James.

JAMES (calm and deep thinking)

I’M JUST MAKING SURE THAT THEY HAD A FUTURE TO LOOK FOR, BUT IT WOULD’VE BEEN NICE IF I WAS ALLOWED TO BE PART OF THEIR LIVES.

PAGE 19

PANEL 1

Back to Edward who is alone and walking.

PANEL 2

Edward is surprised by the voice he hears.

JEREMY (not shown)

SAY, BUDDY?.... DO YOU HAVE THE TIME?

EDWARD (a bit surprised)

HUH?

PANEL 3

Jeremy is smiling and has his shades off to make him seem more innocent. A part of Edward is shown.

EDWARD (partly shown and a little nervous)

OH, UM, SURE, IT’S….

PANEL 4

Edward gets hit hard in the head by a wooden baseball bat!

PANEL 5

Edward is on the ground unconscious, while the smiling Jeremy stands above him carrying a bat and putting on his shades. Jeremy is grinning.

JEREMY (cool, confident, and crazy)

IT’S TIME…. TO TAKE A NAP!.... “GEEK!”

PAGE 20

PANEL 1

The Applimax building is shown.

PANEL 2

Two silver knights, without armor, are waiting for the cursed to return at a back door and are surprised to what they hear.

SAM (not shown, angry, and loud)

YEAH! THAT’S IT! RUN ALONG AND GET INSIDE!

SAM (not shown, angry, and loud)

AND WHILE YOU’RE AT IT, WHY DON’T YOU DO THE CITY A FAVOR AND NEVER COME OUT…. “LIKE FOREVER!”

PANEL 3

Same as panel 2, but the two confused silver knights watch the angry Sandy run and enter the building!

PANEL 4

Same as panel 3, but now the knights sees the annoyed Sam about to enter the building.

SAM (angry, but trying to stay calm)

WORD FROM THE WISE, BOYS, IT’S BETTER IF THE HUMAN RACE GOES INTO EXTINCTION, THEN TO MAKE BRATS LIKE THAT!

PANEL 5

James is helping the drunken Ralph get to the door. Ralph is giggling.

JAMES (somewhat cheery)

LOOKS LIKE RALPH HAD A GOOD TIME, HUH GUYS?

PAGE 21

PANEL 1

The two guards are now waiting for the last one, Edward.

PANEL 2

Same a panel 1.

PANEL 3

Same as panel 2, but a worried Mark surprises them as he dramatically comes thru the door!

PANEL 4

The two confused silver knights watch the worried Mark as he turns his head to look for someone!

PANEL 5

A part of the city is shown.

MARK (not shown, freaking out, and really loud)

WHERE’S MY WEREWOLF?!!

PAGE 22

PANEL 1

Inside a place that looks like a basement, the unconscious Edward is tied up on the floor, while behind him is the grinning Jeremy who looks like he sitting on a box while he looks at his soon to be prey.

TO BE CONTINUED
